While everyone I spoke to, both in scheduling and during my visit, was friendly and helpful, it is obvious that communication is lacking between the two departments. Neither the nurse who took my vitals nor the NP with whom the appointment was scheduled knew what was supposed to be covered during the visit.

It was my first introduction to Candace Hoff. I thought she was delightful. She was helpful, compassionate and thoughtful with my situation.

My experience was very well, but it did seem like she was looking at the computer an awful lot.

Great staff and facilities

I love that they made all my appointments on the same day. Being from out of town made it very easy to take care of all of our needs fast and very efficiently.

Candace was very thorough, and she took time to ease my nervousness about the upcoming procedure. Some medical people, often pressed for time, do not acknowledge the value or impact of brief, personal conversations, but she understood I needed to see all of my treatment team as people, too. I am not a transaction. She honored my need to connect. Thank you!

Very happy with the care. Even on a holiday and off work she read the lab results and realized I needed a different prescription. She called it in and text me. Very pleased with the care!

We had an issue in that I requested a manual cuff for my BP reading. They insisted on using the electronic one which is extremely painful for me. The following day I was seen in the Sparta clinic with resolution of elevated BP and pain by use of a manual cuff.

Bedside manner, not comfortable, quite rude, strong assumptions, very condescending.

Candace Hoff made me feel comfortable from the minute she walked in. Easy to talk with. Will recommend her.

The on line check in process is too long. I don't like getting a text message asking if I'm there yet when there are human beings who are there to check me in. Too much electronic interaction. The human beings who work at Gundersen are wonderful

This provider made me feel extremely uncomfortable as soon as she walked in the door. I felt judged and I felt she was very rude and did not take me seriously.

I was very pleased how well I was taken care of and how quickly they all moved to find out the problem.

I came early because of the distance I had to travel. They went above and beyond to get me into all 4 of my appointments early. Amazing group of staff!

Candace was professional and efficient. It would have been helpful to have a map of buildings. We entered at the opposite end and had a long walk to the correct area. My 2nd knee is being replaced next week and my first knee replacement 5 weeks ago is very achy today. That would have been avoided if we knew where to go initially.

This Provider is excellent, very knowledgeable, efficient, and helpful.
