Ward Brown, MD is the very best cardiologist at Gundersen. He is highly professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and responsive to patient needs. Truly the best! I am very grateful for his ongoing patient care and expertise.

I had a great experience with Dr. Brown. This is our second visit. He was going over an echocardiogram. I only wish I could have gotten in sooner and didn't have to wait for two months. But he was very knowledgeable about my condition and encouraging me to get maybe some further testing. I will surely recommend him to all of my friends. Thank you.

Have been a patient at Gundersen for many years now and have always been treated well by providers and staff in every department I have been in. I am quite happy with my care teams at Gundersen.

Dr Brown explained everything to me so I could understand it and he also listened to my concerns. Everyone that I dealt with for this appointment was top notch. You are very lucky to have such great employees. I am very satisfied at the care I receive at your facility and would not hesitate to recommend your facility to anyone.

I have had a cardiologist for 20 years in Appleton, Wi, Florida, and now La Crosse. Every time I saw a cardiologist blood tests were done prior to the visit and the visit included an EKG and discussion of test results. I have had 4 stents implanted and triple bypass. In addition, with the meds I am on my potassium levels and lipids should be regularly monitored. I am trying to understand, with my history, why see a cardiologist if there is no testing done by them.

Way too many things to do to check in. Every single appointment there is a check in to go thru various ?'s etc. Nothing changes but your organization expecting way too much for the payoff to do basically a job that could be done face to face.

Great experience.

The man who checked me out after my appointment was, unfortunately, not a good representative of Gundersen Clinic. I was trying to set up a test the doctor ordered. Doctor told me to set it up on my way out, at checkout. The employee gave me misinformation which was very confusing. I had to ask to speak with Dr. Brown's nurse before I left to get things figured out. The employee was yawning the entire time I talked with him. This was on Floor 3 (Elevator B) checkout. I would wait in another line to checkout with someone else before I spoke with that employee again.
