DR Verdon and staff were exceptionally nice. My visit was timely and accomplished all that was needed. DR Verdon is a very nice , caring man. He explains things very well and is more than willing to help with any issues.

I have been using this Opthalmology department for 10 years. They have earned my trust.

I am fortunate to have access to good healthcare.

I felt like there will be some Improvement of eyesight.

Hello, I do not often write reviews or give much feedback. On my list of things to do was to follow up on this visit with Gundersen health systems. It's been six years since I had my exam and this experience couldn't have been better. The gentleman that did the basic eye exam to get started did a phenomenal job at explaining the whole process and making me feel comfortable. During this, he also made small talk to pass the time as he completed his tasks. Once he was done, he politely excused himself and mentioned the doctor would be in shortly. Once Dr. Verdon was in, the whole experience continued on course. He was also polite and explained his whole process. We discussed my symptoms and my current/past prescriptions. Both men thoroughly answered all my questions and provided the best service they could. I don't have a negative thing to say about the whole experience. Although my experience was brief with the front desk personnel, they also were polite during the check in and out processes. Thank you for the great visit overall.

I was treated with care by everyone from the phone call requesting a same day appointment, to the receptionists at check in, to the MA/nurse, to Dr. Verdon. It was noted that I hadn't been in for a routine appointment - no blame or shame, just as a fact. I think other departments may have given a different vibe about that, but not Dr. Verdon or the staff who roomed me. Thank you!

My experience with Dr Verdon was great. My experience with the pharmacist and a pharmacy assistant was terrible. They were rude to me when I asked a question. The pharmacist mocked me when I asked which of the medicines had a red cap in it. Dr. Verdon told me the prescription with the red cap was not to be shaken so I wanted to know which medicine box had the red cap. She answered 'How would I know? I fill hundreds of prescriptions every day.' She then went in to talk quickly and when I asked her to repeat a word 'invert' which I had never heard before, she made me feel stupid when I said 'shaken' which was the word Dr. Verdon used with me. The pharmacy assistant was equally rude when she told me the prescription was not covered by insurance and I asked her how long it would take to get permission and she said 'a couple of days. You have to pay cash or you won't get this.' She also filled a prescription for me that had been cancelled by Dr. Verdon. The urgent care physician who treated me did not provide a diagnosis or tell me he prescribed an antibiotic. He sent me to Dr.Verdon. When I went to Dr Verdon, I told him that I received a message on my phone about a prescription and didn't know anything about it. Dr. Verdon checked and cancelled the prescription. However, the pharmacy assistant tried to sell it to me anyway. Customer service at the pharmacy was not good for me at all.

Was kinda bummed that Gundersen didn't accept Aetna for what could of been my glasses order.

The doctor mentioned the switch from Gundersen to Emplify was making some inconvenient glitches with the system and that he wasn't happy with it. This made my visit a little longer than expected.

Super happy that DR is back and thriving I missed hom a LOT. My Chart is been down no matter what I do, even resentting password etc.
