Provider had a great personality!

I was taken in a wheelchair from room to room to room, for exam, eyedrops, waiting room, more exam, pictures, more pictures, a failed computer, another room for the last pictures. Up, down, up, down, etc. Very trying for my spinal fractures. Most of the assistants were patient and helpful, but I can't call it a delightful experience.

You know, like all visits that I have had, I leave and reflect on what just happened. It all happens fast, and you leave wondering about what just happened. I trust in the people and figure they know better than I do. There are endless existential questions one could ask in these situations, but like I said-trust.

Ophthalmology was absolutely swamped on the day of my visit and yet everyone I encountered was pleasant and professional. Kudos!

I am a poor user of the computer in general. my computer is old, and I am old so difficult for me to catch onto all the new systems.

Concerned about the turnover in staff esp. in the admitting area. I always see new ones and wonder what happened to the staff that I am familiar with???

My experience was good and all my questions were answered fully.

Dr. Whitford was efficient, friendly and a typical surgeon. All business. Didn't really explain the surgery because there is a scheduled phone call to walk patient through the details.

There was clearly a staffing shortage at the check-in/check-out desks. Someone must've called in sick

I arrived at 9:45 like scheduled , got right in. Nurse did first exam promptly . Went to 2nd waiting room . They forgot about me for 1 and half hrs. Had to ask myself. Not Happy-at all

I get shots in my eye every 10 weeks they are so efficient and friendly and knowledgeable I couldn't ask for a better team to take care of me

I got there a few minutes early and got called in early. Appt was at 9:30. I was in my car headed home shortly after mt steroid shot. Very efficient.

I love everyone on that team, from the nurses, Jacob that comes and gets you is sooo nice and funny. They all remember me and it's crazy but I actually look forward to going to these appointments because of the staff.

For the digital experience, you should offer something that says that it's not, a person didn't use it. That's all.

My chart/check in experience is frustrating. The system is clunky, the search results for medications and pharmacy difficult to use.

I am grateful Dr. Whitford has been my ophthalmologist for a number of years and in that time has taken excellent care of my vision. He understands my concern of having limited vision and is proactive in protecting it from progressing. He is a 20 out of 10!

I had a small lesion removed in the office just below my eyebrow. It barely took 2 minutes, very efficient. Minimal wait time in lobby and also once in the room waiting for Dr. Great job.

When Gundersen became Emplify, it became harder to log in to My Chart. I realize that some people might need all the security and passwords, but I really don't. They only make it more difficult for me and very confusing.

Dr. Whitford suggested, recommended, told me I need to have cataract surgery in both eyes and he wanted to schedule it. He didn't have time to answer any questions. I've never known anybody that had cataract surgery. I have no idea what it entails, other than very general, or what I need to do afterward or how long. I live in the country alone. I'm older. I have two big rescue dogs and I do everything here. And somewhat crippled and there were no answers. They were just running behind time or something. And so I came home and I said, well, he said, well, you have to schedule them up. I said, no, and I don't know anything about this. So I went home and spent a couple hours trying to read from Mayo and from Johns Hopkins what cataract surgery involved and what you need to be careful of afterward and how long, and if there's two eyes, how soon can they schedule them together and what to do about driving, what to do, you can't get knocked over.

I was a walk-in patient sent by my doctor from Richland Center Hospital. My first time ever there. I usually go to UW Madison. Everyone I encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. I felt so worried upon arriving at a new place. I felt immediately cared for from the moment I spoke to the receptionist. She made sure I understood where I needed to go. The next receptionist was equally kind and patient. The wonderful nurse who prepared my eyes was absolutely amazing! The doctor who I seen also immediately made me feel comfortable. He carefully explained everything I needed to know. I felt so relieved after I got back home because I had my answers. I'd never met any of this team before today. So thankful for the fact you all were open on a day after Christmas! Thank-You Everyone!

I had to wait almost 40 minutes before the doctor arrived. I felt like he was very busy. He did apologize for the wait. I felt he was a little rushed and tried to do the procedure before the pain meds kicked in.

I needed laser treatment for my right eye and the procedure took about 4 minutes and for that I had to wait one month for an appointment. I suffered with my sight for 6 months or so, couldn't drive or see much. I wish it wouldn't take so long to get an appointment. But now I see clearly so I'm more than happy. Thank you

My appointment was canceled unbeknownst to me. I l live 1 1/2 hours away so it would be quite inconvenient to come back another time. The scheduling person was extremely helpful arranging for me to be seen the same day.
