Great experience, I was treated extremely well.

It was a good experience. Everyone was kind and friendly.

I find MyChart mostly good to use but sometimes there are things I see and then they disappear or I can't find them again. Mostly it's fine. Halderson was terrific. He explained things and made suggestions.

I don't like using My Care. To confusing for me. U want me to fill out things for appt. U send a code & I can't get back to fill it in. Make it more simple!!

Initial visit was fine but after visit experience has not been so good. Sent messages twice on My Chart and once left phone message regarding questions regarding new medication orders...3 days and still no response other than that my message has been given to Mr.Halderson for clarification. I still have not started new Rx's because I am not certain about transition of medications. Pharmacist directions are different from PA Halderson.

Doc fit me in at end of his day, listened to my concerns & questions & answered my questions. Understood my need to get to answers & feel human/good again.

I was very impressed. This is the first time I've seen him, but he was well informed of my past and present issues and had good suggestions on how to proceed.

Steven was excellent. He had obviously taken the time to look over my records and explained his recommendations regarding adding a medication, etc. Top notch.

Everyone is always friendly and helpful and professional !!!!

Halderon did an excellent job of communicating. He spoke clearly and loudly enough for An older person to hear and understand.

Excellent provider and care

I was really pleased after my visit with PA Steven Halderson. Very kind and considerate. Explained everything to me so well. Also took his time.

I was very impressed with the PA I talked to before the main doctor come in and he seemed to really know his business and I wished he would go on to be a doctor instead of just a PA. Yes, I was very satisfied with my visit. Thank you.

The cardiology department was fantastic- I initially met with a pa whom was great however a cardiologist took time to meet with me, ask for additional test and provide diagnosis.

He was exceptional. Gave me so much information. He's the best.

It was a very good experience.

We had an appointment at a quarter to three and he did not come in the office until 17 minutes after three. We didn't know if we were left in there and he forgot about us and I don't recommend him to anybody.

Steven Halderson was excellent, knowledgeable, engaging, and thorough. I truly appreciated his approach and the care he provided. Unfortunately, my experience with the physician he worked with was extremely disappointing. I found her communication to be dismissive and, at times, inappropriate. For example, I was asked whether pasta is the base of all my meals, which felt both presumptive and unprofessional. Given my background in healthcare and education, I expect respectful, evidence-based dialogue, especially regarding concerns like cholesterol, which in my case does not currently warrant treatment. Additionally, the staff member who roomed me spoke in a way that felt overly simplistic and condescending. She explained that she had to click her "cool buttons" to verify my medication list, which felt unnecessary and not appropriate to the situation. Patients of any age or specialty deserve to be treated with respect and not in a patronizing tone. I have been a patient at Gundersen for over a decade and have had many positive experiences. Unfortunately, this visit did not meet that standard.

Steven Halderson, PA, explained my condition to me quite clearly. He gave me an honest assessment, and did so professionally. He was well aware of my condition, and explained it thoroughly. I feel much more comfortable with my diagnosis after his explanation.

Both cardiac teams I met with were very caring and made sure I understood my condition and gave me sufficient info to help me decide if I wanted to continue with the treatment they recommended.

I found Dr. Steven Halderson to be very attentive to my concerns and any questions I had while on this visit. I didn't feel rushed and he explained my prior test results in understandable terms. I appreciated his word pictures to help describe the information given to me. Very personable and caring.
