I have been seeing Dr. Wissink for several years, one compliant , the assistants that check blood pressure and general information, are so unprofessional, never smile, talk down to me, harsh tone in their voices....this is yearly experience, this does not happen in any other department... most unsettling.

Everyone was polite and efficient at their jobs. Dr. Wissink listened to me carefully, was professional but yet very personable. He was thorough in the review of my issue and discussed options, giving me some choice in how to proceed. I felt very reassured when I left and would see him again (as he is not my PCP.)

I would like to have my doctor do physical exams like used to be done years ago. It appears I have consults, and that's as far as it goes. I assume Medicare has something to do with this, but there is no offer. on the doctor's part to do anything for a physical exam. So I don't know. But I would appreciate that that could still happen.

Dr. gives excellent care and advice for my health .

Substitute provider was fine, but he asked for a blood count and sent me to the Onalaska lab. Two untrained people who I cannot call phlebotomist did not seem to know what they were doing, and I was left with quite a bruise and no results after two people tried and failed. I left. For a while, the Onalaska lab seemed adequate, but my last two sessions with it suggest that training has not been very good at all. I cannot recommend this web to anyone.

I don't know what is meant by the question about a "unique person".... Why don't you simply say what you mean! Aren't we all "unique"?

Dr. Wissink explains things well because he takes his time and makes me feel like he cares about my health and well being. He gets a gold star from me.

I struggle more and more with getting into mychart to check out tests results and appointments.

I have been a patient of Dr. Wissink for a long time. He is a very good provider. He had clearly read my medical records for the past year and came prepared to discuss everything I had listed. My only criticism would be how difficult it is to get an appointment with him outside of my annual physical.

I have always had a wonderful experience at Gunderson. Whenever I have a doctor's appointment I really look forward to it. I also enjoy meeting my doctor, Stephen Wissink. He is definitely knowledgeable very friendly,and can answer all my questions.

Everything was good but with my particular situation, I don't feel a video visit was the best recommended (by the advice nurse) type of visit. The Doctor could not see my eye well enough to give me a positive diagnosis.
