Get the check in app working properly...in the 3 years I've been using this clinic, the check in app has NEVER worked!

This department seemed thoroughly equipped. A I might mention the primary care section is way understaffed. Too much wait time. They are understaffed. Communication is lacking and my chart is fair but it is hard to get across issues the correct Doctor. Substituting an alternative physician for some who has been ill for over 40 years and has many issues just can't jump to someone different. This is very very stressful.

MyChart should be made a little bit more easily available to people. Now, with the new password that you need to get on it, it's hard to get in. It's at my own home. I only use my laptop. So for me, the laptop is convenient and it's at home and it's private so I shouldn't have to put in a password to get into my own MyChart. That would be my only suggestion. Thank you.

I did check in online as encouraged. All ready to just click on "I'm here" when I got to the clinic. It did not work and I had to go to the desk for check in anyway. Well the wait was longer than usual. I told the check in person I tried to check in online and click I'm here. She said that hasn't been working very well nd that it doesn't usually work. So what's the point in having it as an option?

Because Emplify has abandoned Winona County it is highly doubtful I will be able to continue care with Dr. Thompson. Consistency of eye care is so important and I'm very upset about this decision regarding my Quartz insurance

I would have liked more help picking out my new glass frames

I miss the personal connection with the front desk. When I called to make my last appointment, the front desk scheduled me for just a checkup even though we had a conversation about the visual test I needed to take. The day before my appointment, I received a phone message saying they had to cancel my appointment because the test was not scheduled and I already had the day off from work. There is a real disconnect with the front desk and the eye department. Also, ordering contacts is a pain for the same reason. I call to order, no one answers so I leave a message. Someone calls back during the school day when I can't pick up the phone so I have to return the call and no one picks up again. It is a viscous cycle. I have started to order my contacts through Shopko now because they will ship them to me and there is no run around on the phone. I also ordered my last set of glasses through Shopko because I had issues with my last pair from Gunderson (cracks on the lenses through no fault of mine) and no help was given to remedy the situation. If Emplify is your new name, it doesn't fit lately. I love Dr. Thompson so I will continue to see him, but you all could do better with customer communication and support.

I feel very confident regarding Dr. Thompson's expertise and care. I have encouraged my husband go to make an appointment with him.

I noticed that everyone seemed to be happy, content with their job, and actually listened to what I had to say. So that made a great deal of difference, because I've had a lot of experience with offices where they don't listen. These people really do know how to give good customer service. And I applaud them.

Dr Thompson explained results in a way I could understand. He was personable.

Scheduling is putting patients to close together. If DR. Has to give extra time to a patient then every patient after has to wait.. emplify-it's not always about the money . Gundersen used to be physician driven and patient friendly.

The Gunderson clinic here in Winona is very welcoming and efficient. I feel very comfortable there.

signature pads require touching items which may be contaminated by prior use by infected persons. it is time to change this outdated technology.

We couldn't pick out glasses during our visit due to Emplify having issues with denying everyone's insurance claims. So we will have to come back another day. All staff we encountered during his visit, along with Dr. Thompson were wonderful!

I think My Chart has to much security. I shouldn't need a secure number every time I access my account.

The two technicians I had were extremely friendly and competent!

The only issue I had was with the huge software upgrade. I received a call the day before my appointment to update all of my information. It took about 10 minutes or so. Great, but the next day at check in time. I was asked all of the same questions and told I hard to update all of the information on My Chart for every thing I had done on the phone the day before. I was a little annoyed as you wasted my time to just make me do it all over again. Otherwise the eye clinic appt was great.

Yes, the visual test, I forget it has another name, visual report or visual something, but anyway, that's getting to be too long for me as I get older. I sometimes don't know if I'm gonna be able to get through it, so I don't know if they have a shorter version or what. Okay, thank you.

I have been treated very well, and I've been to them for a long time. Both the doctor and his nurse, they were all very, very good. And any questions I had, they answered, and they were very friendly. I really enjoyed them.

The person who helped me pick my glasses was not friendly. I told her this is how you screw people over! I was not happy with her.

Every time I go to the doctors here, I'm surprised. As an openly queer POC, I've learned to expect even the slight bit of mistreatment or disrespect (statistically speaking). Yet every time, I'm treated with the utmost respect and my concerns are taken seriously and addressed as such as well. The staff is always more than willing to explain medical terms in layman's terms for better understanding of the treatments being chosen for my ailments. I really appreciate the work Gundersen's Winona Campus' staff puts into their incredible bedside manner. It means so much to me!!
