At first, I liked him, he seemed like a nice guy... I could tell that Dr Escher didn't believe me when I said there was something wrong with my shoulder. He was wrong, and should have owned it. Instead, he suggested that I have a syndrome called CSS, meaning it's all in my head. Turns out my shoulder has all kinds of rips and tears and Im scheduled to have surgery. I've had a really hard time after a failed back surgery at Gunderson. It ruined my life, as I have been unable to work, lost my entire savings and most of my retirement. The impact that the back surgery has had on my body and mind has been devastating. Every time I see him, he tells me that I'm a mess. I think it's incredibly unprofessional and unkind. I thought Emplify was all about empathy?? I felt absolutely ZERO coming from him. Not a good experience.

I would recommend to everyone. Everyone very nice and knowledgeable!

The guy checking us in looked bored like he didn't want to be there. We had to wait for them to finish up talking with each other. The provider was nice, was very quick but efficient as well and made a plan moving forward.

My visit with Dr. Escher was all I hoped for. Everyone at the clinic was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Dr. Escher was warm, very experienced and examined my problem thoroughly. He explained my condition and from him I learned more than I ever had by doctors I had seen before. I am very happy that I made the Gunderson system my Healthcare home.

Everything was great except I do have to call back as the checkout girl I realized after I got home and looked on mychart booked my daughter's follow up as a concussion follow up and it's a kneecap fracture follow up.

We need Dr. E to be at Gundersen Moundview Full time we do not have enough providers.

Given this was a follow-up to an urgent care visit for high blood sugar I would have expected him to test blood sugar that day. Instead he asked me what my number was and I had no way to know because I didn't have the equipment to test it with. Hard to do a true follow up without that info which he never got.

I was so impressed with Dr. Escher.He was so great with me! What a wonderful personality! I can' t be the only person speaking highly of him.

Dr. Escher is a great doctor, explained everything that was wrong with my back .

the staff is always friendly and treat you with respect and do everything they can to help you.

Dr. Escher is kind, attentive, experienced, easy to trust. I wish he could be my pcp, but he is a " flo".

I called the Spring Grove clinic for my appointment. When I arrived at the clinic, I was told my appointment was in the La Crescent clinic. I was not told that. Appointment schedulers need to be specific so patients know where they are scheduled to avoid confusion.

I'd like to keep him as my doctor!

Dr. Escher listened carefully to my concerns and spent time explaining what he thought was best for me to continue my care, which was PT and possibly an MRI if there was no progress. Very friendly and answered all my questions.

I wanted to mention that the front desk ladies are always very pleasant and helpful. The My care team was very friendly and made sure that I was taken care of just right. It was also great to be able to have an x-ray at their location instead of having to drive somewhere else.

The doc I had was great! As a female I've never had a male provider, but he was awesome!

After seeing the docotor per SS request my medical supplies will not be covered by SS. Very upsettging!!

Doctor Escher was wonderful and listened to all of my symptoms. He did a complete exam and made recommendations for me to do. Recommended follow up after therapy.

My daughter was seen for a post hospital stay followup appointment, and we had a wonderful experience! The front desk staff were very welcoming and prompt to address us, we didn't have a long wait, the medical assistant was kind and inviting to my daughter, which helped her feel comfortable. The environment was clean, so there must be amazing housekeeping staff on the regular. Dr. Escher had great bedside manner, and my daughter really took to communicating with him. He spoke directly to her, which really helped in this case. He was also willing to listen and provide feedback which felt like a natural conversation and not just "check the box". Nice to see medical staff who are truly in it! I will/would absolutely continue to bring my family to this provider and clinic. A big thank you to you all for making small-town care a priority. It matters!

As a woman I often feel like male doctors have been some what dismissive of symptoms. Dr. Escher was so nice and made me feel comfortable explaining my pain.

It would be helpful if updates to medications registered in My Chart. We update before appointments and when verifying, the updates aren't always there even after a member of the medical team makes the change. It seems to be a clerical thing

Once we got there, the staff was amazing. It's just the length of time in order to get an appointment. That is what I rated you lower on. So anyway, just that. Thanks.

Dr. Escher and all of the staff that assisted us with asking questions, doing checks, and tests were all very polite, professional. They took the time to answer all of our questions. They were very patient with us. They explained things in ways that we were able to easily understand, and they were all very efficient, and they really took their time with us to make sure that my son was getting an accurate diagnosis, and we were getting all of the information we would need for his care and follow-up. Thank you.

Scott was very helpful in my case. He was there when I needed it and did a temporarily relief in my knee pain management. HE understood what I was going through and helped me as best as he could in the conditions that were given. He listened to everything thing that I had to say and listened to my body too.
