Dr Wetzel did a good job explaining my condition and how to treat it. I appreciate that he suggested the lesser expensive options instead of immediately writing a prescription.

The providers were the best team of providers i have ever had. The were friendly, polite, articulate. Knowledgeable and caring. They answered all my questions easily and made me comfortable during treatment and while conversing. 5 stars!

Apparently everyone was at lunch when I arrived and they had closed the gate and shut off the lights so I thought I was there on the wrong day or something. There also wasn't anyone at the reception desk for the optometrist so I just stood there and I must've looked lost or something because finally someone asked me if I was there for the optometrist and when I said yes she said ok come on in and someone will be here in a moment. So I stood there (in the dark) for only a minute but it was the weirdest first impression I ever had. I think some signage would be appropriate or some other way of showing that they're still there just at lunch would be helpful to people.

I was very pleased with the way I got an appointment so quickly with the fact that it may have been a serious condition and the thoroughness of the nurse and the doctor and the doctor was wonderful at explaining what I needed to do if something did happen. I was very pleased with the entire process from the moment I walked in until I left.

The waiting area was very loud due to the glasses fitting area acoustics being all tile and hard surfaces created a echo chamber

The first young woman who did the basic vision assessment was extremely professional, knew her work well and explained all to me as we went along. Dr. Wetzel is an outstanding young man! Very personable. Again explained everything and asked specific questions. I felt very confident that I had a complete and thorough exam and knew what things might require a visit back!

I think the whole procedure or office visit went very well. I think the waiting was just a little bit long. I think that next time I would like to get through it, just a little faster than an hour and 20 minutes for the total exam. Otherwise, I was completely happy.

I was set up with a referral in LaCrosse and I knew before I left who, when, where and the reason.

This was my first time with Dr Sam and as a doctor he was incredibly patient and completely relatable. He explained everything that a lay person could understand. I will book with him anytime I need to be seen.

Dr. Wetzel was great! I really felt like he took the time to listen and consider my condition. He didn't dismiss my symptoms or make me feel like my opinion didn't matter. I would definitely go back for care from him and recommend him to others.

Yeah, all the text messages and emails about signing in, pre-signing, pre-registration and all that is completely useless and doesn't really, it's more irritating than anything else. You can drop that stuff. It doesn't improve anything.

The eye doctor SAM WETZIL did a great job and was very professional.

The optometrist I saw was great. I finally found an eye doctor I would like to see regularly. Typically, i just go to see a random optometrist not one particular. I feel this provider is someone I would like to see consistently. He was awesome in listening, explaining and educating. Kudos to the whole staff. Great clinic.

Excellent close to home care and I was able to get in the same day. Clear diagnosis and treatment plan. I felt very well cared for.

I found out I cannot get my glasses there. That disturbed me. I have medicaid and Medicare and couldn't get my glasses there?

Person helping with fitting me for new frames wasn't engaged with me, to matter of fact than helpful.

The front desk staff at the Viroqua eye clinic is always so welcoming and helpful! This is a consistent pattern I've noticed.
