    my child was not seen for an appointment at this time. i was sent a text message that an opportunity to switch arose and i replied to the message and was sent a "success" message. when we arrived to check in we were told dr. bassett didn't have an opening. that the appointment was canceled due to insurance and i received no notifications about it. the attendant was rude insisting i was notified. i check my missed call log, the text message thread from emplify, my voicemail and mychart and there was no notification or message for me. she said by accepting this appointment (we were on a waitlist for a well visit) i had canceled my daughters other appointment. the lady at the check in was rude, didn't apologize and put all the accountability on me. she rescheduled an appointment for three months from now and i hope she put us on the waitlist but i don't trust she did. we weren't seen by our primary doctor and just went home.

    All the questions on the previsit checkin are ridiculous. The new mychart is confusing. I really like Dr. Bassett.

    I have never had a doctor that has provided such amazing care,.respect and patience as Dr Bassett. However we all know because she is good at what she does, her appointments run longer than normal. The next patient shouldn't have to wait for 45 minutes past their appt time to be seen. You all are aware if this, quit trying to cram patients in and out on her schedule, if im paying for an office visit I dont want to be rushed out (which had happened with my past provider for years)so they can get to the next. Start scheduling appointments where you allow doctors to take time with their patients and the next isn't sitting and waiting. I would imagine that not only is frustrating on a patient but also the doctor. It shouldn't be about how many appts you can cram in and money you can make with people coming in. Figure out your scheduling, especially when you know she is an outstanding Doctor and wants to be sure she is giving her patient the care they deserve and need. Not a assembly of push them in and out. Allow more time for appts , it seems pretty simple.

    I waited for 45 minutes for Dr. Bassett to show up. After about the first 30 minutes, I left the room to find the bathroom and a nurse. The nurse that helped me completely disregarded what I was saying and talked over me. Very bad experience. I was only with Dr. Bassett for less than 10 minutes after she showed up.

    Bassett was very informative, very concerned, decided to try everything to come to the conclusion of what was wrong. I would highly recommend her and I felt very comfortable with her and am very pleased with my time spent with her.

    The wait time between check in and finally seeing our provider was more than 1 hour. This is unacceptable. As patients we are required to arrive 15 minutes before said appointment or we may have to reschedule but the same respect does come back to the patient. After being in the office and being seen by the nurse the wait time was 57 minutes. Then we saw the Doctor for about 15 minutes and still had follow up labs. This process is too strenuous and stressful on children. A change needs to happen!

    The automated system of appointment reminders where there's an outbound call to the patient with two days before frequently fails to work. This has been going on for 10 years or something, 20, I don't know. But it's been a very long time. It works, then it doesn't work, then it doesn't. Anyway, often you'll just get a call. When you pick up, there's just a noise and it hangs up. Or occasionally there's broken voices coming through trying to remind you of the appointment. So the system that handles that either needs better maintenance, it certainly needs better supervision and testing. That's all.

    The in patient room time was much longer than expected. I thought maybe I was forgotten about so I opened the door because the smell of food permeated the room . Once I was seen one on the receptionist was walking through eating a plate of food and told me to check out in the front. Little unprofessional for a doctors office environment in my opinion.
