It was a great experience! The nurse I had was super friendly! Dr. Nolan Rohrer was so nice and so thorough!
- 4 out of 5 starsReviewed on 3/22/2026
I would have liked to have demonstrations of exactly how to do the exercises rather than only written descriptions. I would have liked explanations of how each exercise would help my pain, but maybe that's more the function of PT. I don't really know the function of the PM & R department and maybe expected something different. I did receive a good explanation of my recent hip/spine x-ray and was happy to receive a diagnosis and assurance that the exercises I was already doing wouldn't increase the pain. Some of the exercises I was given are different from what I had before in PT, and I think they're going to help. This is not a criticism of Nolan but the system itself: the notes attached to my visit seem for the most part very generic and boilerplate--almost as if written by AI. Many things were noted that weren't discussed at the appointment, for example a long list of pain killers, analgesic creams, etc.

Provider Nolan Roher was very through in assessing my pain and indicating what treatment was available to me at the time of our visit and in the future.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 3/13/2026
Felt like I was not rushed and he truly listened to me and understood. Don't get this from too many doctors at Gundersen anymore.

- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 11/4/2025
Nolan was very thorough in his assessment and explained viable options for diagnosing and treating my continued pain. He answered all of my questions regarding the RFA procedure. After almost 17 months of continuing pain post TKA, I feel like he was one provider who took my pain seriously.

I was treated very well. I was listened to and asked questions like a fellow professional. We came up with a game plan together. I really appreciated this. Thank you.

PA Nolan Rohrer did a great job of explaining my x-rays and telling me many things non-surgically that can be done to alleviate my pain. I was very pleased with the time he spent with me. He is very knowledgeable but explains things in simple terms.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 10/18/2025
I was very impressed with Nolan's write up of the visit that was posted on my chart. Very thorough and complete. Well documented.
- 1 out of 5 starsReviewed on 10/9/2025
It takes too long to get appointments. The fact that I am in extreme pain, doesn't seem to matter. They have their procedures and no matter who you are or what your situation is, they stick with their steps. They do not listen to the patient. Every patient is an individual. I am very disappointed with Gundersen/Emplify Healthcare. One size doesn't fit all
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 10/8/2025
Good experience but long wait time to get appointment and long wait time for follow up appt.
- 5 out of 5 starsReviewed on 10/9/2025

I can't say I enjoy going to see a medical professional, but I don't mind seeing these folks!

I went in for a useless appointment to meet a new Dr. And tell me things I already knew, with no solutions.
