Nancy A Leitch, MD

Dr Leitch was absolutely amazing! She is always friendly, explains everything so i can understand, and makes me feel like i matter. I cannot say enough about how amazing both her and her assistant were.

Yes, I really like Dr. Leitch. Unfortunately, she told me that she's going to be retiring this year and that apparently there is some difficulty in finding replacement dermatologists, which concerns me a lot. I had a basal cell carcinoma three years ago, so I've been having skin checks and apparently in the future they aren't automatically rescheduling again due to the lack of dermatologists available. So that is my main concern right now is that the difficulty in finding dermatologists, I'm on a call back. Apparently they're only rescheduling for people with skin cancers of three years and less. So that is my concern and I'm sure that a lot of other people are concerned about this.

This was my first ever time for seeing a dermatologist and I must say it was exceptionally a relief to be in such good hands.

My actual experience was good. Although at my first visit with Dr Leitch, I'm sad to hear she is retiring. My previous dermatologist was only on staff for two visits. I'm hoping the MD staffing in dermatology will improve with additional long term people.

Concerned about provider availability. It seems that the retirement rate is outpacing the rate of hire.

I sat in the doctors office for a half hour before being seen

With all my visits everyone was very considerate and professional.

The experience was just fine. I felt relieved I didn't have anything wrong as I had to wait 9 months for an appointment. Dr. Leitch answered all my questions and was very helpful in addressing my concerns. I would recommend her to friends.

When I went to MyChart after the appointment, it said that she thoroughly checked my buttocks and my hairline, and that just never happened.

I believe that Dr. Leitch is very thorough and knows what she's doing and I feel very comfortable talking to her.

She was quick! Barely sat in the waiting room and I was in the room and a minute later the Dr was in!! My drive is over an hour away and that was refreshing to be seen that fast!

Dr. Leitch is an outstanding physician. She does a great job on skin checks and removal of questionable areas...great personality and very caring.

I waited 9 months for this disappointing appointment. I was initially referred by a PA and it was a 9 month wait to see the dermatologist. THere was confusion on what I was being seen for, so I was instructed to undress and when the doctor came in she examined me for 90 seconds and said you have great skin, and was gone. The system is broken and unsatisfactory at every turn. This type of service is why patients are dissatisfied and will not return.

First time meeting Nancy and she was great.

I was so grateful to hear " no skin cancer". I am thankful for preventative screenings. Dr. Leitch is the best!

Dr. Leitch was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and kind. She was efficient but didn't rush me and listened to my questions. Her MA was great, too!

Dr. Leitch is the best ever!! Personable, efficient, precise and to the point.

I had surgery for breast cancer 9 days before this appointment. With the drains and surgical site, handling me was a bit more challenging than typical. Dr. Leitch took great are to make sure I was comfortable and handled safely during my skin check.

Provider was easy to understand, to the point, and efficient. Her nurse was excellent, caring, answered questions, and explained the procedure.

It was a very fast appt & I was nervous so would have been nice to have a bit of time to have the provider look at other areas of concern. Appts here are hard to come by & being referred for possible skin cancer makes it scary. It seemed so procedural for the provider.

What comes first, the referral number or the appointment? I don't know which one because the front desk said one way and the primary care said a different way. And then I'm finding out that the primary care is gonna retire. So how do I get a new person? So that's the problem.

Appointment was completed very efficiently with little comment about what she was observing as she scanned my body. Dr had a friendly disposition but would have appreciated more discussion.

I waited 3 months for this visit and was looking forward to finally getting to see Dr. Leitch. Fortunately I got in at UW-Madison sooner with the intention to switch to Gundersen because of convenience. I feel like Dr. Leitch had no time for me and I had to ask many questions about which meds to continue or stop since I needed refills. I even forgot to ask about one of them and was told to send her a message in mychart, which I did when I got to the parking lot. She did not review my alopecia treatment plan from UW Hospital while I was present, which is why I had to explain everything I was on. I have cancelled my next two appointments and messaged my provider at UW explaining my situation. She was happy to have me back as her patient. It was a disappointing visit and I even apologized for the time I was taking asking her questions about my care plan. I understand dermatologists are double booked all day long, but this was unacceptable in my opinion.

You're check in online is too much especially since the people ask the same questions when we get there. Once you answer the Medicare questions they should be recorded and done with unless you haven't been to an appointment for a year! Also asking if you have been on a trip is something the MA can ask. Stop trying to shorten times with the doctor!

Absolutely great ?

My new dermatologist was efficient and got everything done that was needed.

It's scary going to the doctor today since you'll be billed for every question you ask, without warning. Also, it's criminal that Medicare, which citizens pay for through payroll deductions, are faced with multiple deductibles and co-pays when they retire and begin using Medicare. Capitalist America is filled with devious scams, now including our healthcare system.

Dr. Leitch was wonderful. I generally dislike going to a doctor for anything but Nancy helped me to feel comfortable and was really engaging throughout the visit. I felt like she took the time to get to know me and made me feel extremely comfortable in her space. She is extremely knowledgeable and patient focused. I also really appreciate the warmth and care of her nurse. She also helped me to feel comfortable in this space and going through the appointment. I will recommend Dr. Leitch to everyone!

This was the briefest full body check I have ever received.

The provider was running over 45 minutes late. I received an email from my chart asking me to let them know when I arrived. It would be considerate to have the provider send a notification that they are running late! I could have remained at work for those 45 minutes. The provider and her staff were very polite and apologized.

Our experience with Nancy was very good. She explained things well made good eye contact, and was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable about the topics we discussed.

They were so helpful and answered all my questions about skin cancer, skin care, aging skin and how to be proactive. Thank you!
