Had a great eye yearly check up.

I liked that she didn't try to get me to buy a pair of glasses right away but told me to give it a couple months and see how I felt just using readers.

Dr Smerud, I'm not sure I spelled her name correctly, and her staff were extremely efficient and very welcoming. It was my first visit at the Waukon Eye Clinic, and I already have my 2026 appointment scheduled. They also laughed at all my jokes, which I totally appreciated!! Robyn helped me get the glasses I picked out and she was VERY patient with me, so I never felt that I had to "hurry up" and decide. All in all it was a very pleasant experience and I look forward to getting my new glasses. Thank you.

The entire staff , from check in, the technician, and Dr. Smerud were so pleasant, professional, and took the time to listen to my concerns , good job to the entire staff

I was here on vacation when my eye was injured. They took me right in and I was treated so well. I so appreciate everything everyone did for me and the way they treated me.

This appointment took longer to get approved because of the dumb ass layoffs in the VA.

Your method of notification by text needs to be tuned up. Received multiple text to preregistration when I had already done so and then sending one that I should be at the registration desk when there was no instruction to do so.

I was having eye issues and immediately was given an appointment. I had a great exam and all my questions were answered.

Experience was all good that day. Thank you for the great care.

I was having a difficult time describing what I was concerned about. Dr. Smerud listened carefully and then was able to clearly explain what she was observing in regards to my eye and why I was having the physical reactions I felt. I left this visit assured my surgery on the previous day had gone well and that I was following post surgery instructions I had been given.
