First time meeting Dr Heinlein and I absolutely love her. I am so glad I took the dive and went with her because I felt totally heard and comfortable. Excited to see the results of our decisions.

Dr. Heinlein dismissed most of my concerns and didn't not answer my questions thoroughly. When I brought up a condition seen on my last ultrasound she appeared shocked and scrambled through my chart then stated it was no big deal and will be addressed at the next appointment. A patients chart should be review prior to appointments especially if there is a chance of a rare condition. Ms. Heinlein also shared parenting advice without being asked or prompted by me. She shared her own experience with a twin pregnancy and was very negative and not encouraging about the process. I am aware of the struggles this pregnancy will bring. I appreciate a provider who is realistic and personable, however this interaction did not feel this way. It felt unprofessional and dismissive. I would like someone to reach out to me about this feedback.

I came to Gundersen for an alternative after a poor experience with a provider at another facility. After seeing Dr. Heinlein, I felt confident in the decisions we made about my care together. Thank you!

The provider didn't seem to take me seriously and told me that my symptoms were in my head and "the media" is to blame. I didn't feel like my personal experience was taken appropriately

I had a good visit. However, I waited 30 minutes after arriving for my appointment. Things happen.

Dr. Heinlein is a wonderful provider! I primarily see the Midwives for my pregnancy but was required to see an MD to discuss the risks of a TOLAC. She was thorough and made sure any questions I had were answered.
