Excellent Service!

This provider interrupted me as I was explaining my problem. My concern was lack of sleep due to pain at night waking me every two or three hours. I felt like he wasn't to interested in what I was telling him. He also stated that he didn't know me, I then asked if he could consult with my PCP. His response was no I'm busy and have other patients to take care of. The notes he made in MY Chart where not accurate, stating that I had a procedure in February, that appointment was for a consultation not a procedure. It was noted that he told me he couldn't give me refills, he didn't say this and I never inquired about refills of the prescription he provided. The reason I requested this appointment was so I could find some pain relief at night until I have a nerve block in about two weeks. I wanted to end the call because of his comment that he was busy and had other patients. This encounter was 7 minutes long. After we ended the call I reached out to my PCP's nurse and discussed my concerns, she helped answer my questions about the medication he prescribed and use of addition pain relief so I could take this once at night only so I could sleep through the night or at least more than two or three hours. This doctor made me feel disrespected and not heard. This is the first time I have made a virtual appointment which I did out of necessity. I have another virtual appointment with another new provider on Monday and I hope the experience is better.

This virtual visit was a waste of time and money. I could have sent a message or looked on line for the same information. I'll never do it again and I let people know. Nothing he could do because I wasn't there and he couldn't listen to my lungs etc. I see no point in these visits.

service and care was exceptional

This was the second time I had an appointment with Dr. Eckstein. He came into the room asking personal (non-medical) questions like we have been doctor/patient for many years. I respect that he made me feel comfortable and like a person and not just a number and this was more than 'just a wellness' visit! He took his time explaining results and made sure to check a few times if I understood and if I had any further questions. Thank you.

I'll say my experience was significantly better than the last time. Also, the electronic check-in and so forth is very efficient and saves a lot of time.

I had to answer many of the same questions multiple times when filling out the e-check in. I had a RN call earlier in the week and then again for my actual appointment.

Dr. Eckstien is a wonderful doctor who takes time to evaluate and discuss any issues or concerns I may have. I am very blessed to have him as my doctor, and Emplify is lucky to have him.

Everything was fine. With all the questions on the online check in, I don't see the need for the nurse visit(use to be a call) .

I understand the "arrival time" and my child's actual appointment time. But the lady that checked me in was rude, pulled down her computer screen, tapped on it like I was an idiot. I did not appreciate her rudeness towards me at all. I also did not like how as I checked out, I was told to come at 3pm while the arrival time is set at 325pm. I have never had any issues coming after my arrival time before.

I came in with multiple symptoms. Only one was taken care of. It says I declined labs, but I did not. I left feeling the appointment was pointless to come to. Just another medication that will not help prescribed. My ears were not even looked at and that was the 1st thing I reported. I also have darkened skin on my face and nothing was done about this. I just want something that helps me. I feel my substance abuse over 10 years ago makes the quality of care i receive less. I am pursuing a different primary provider

I needed to stop by the Lab for a UA. Arrived 35 minutes before my appointment with Dr. Eckstein. Waited 35 minutes. Had to cancel the UA. Went to my appointment with Dr. Eckstein.

I was very impressed with the scheduler as she called me back as another patient canceled and I could get in to see my primary care provider. I did not get her name but she went above and beyond for me

Explanation of my medication protocols were explained clearly in layman terms as to benefits, risks, and side effects to watch for. I felt like I was the only patient, and I appreciated that.

Waited 45 min after he got shots for a fluoride treatment and finally had to leave without getting it

I was seen promptly after arriving. Everyone was attentive & friendly. All my questions were addressed . The only negative is needing to book an appointment months out in order to see your primary doctor.

I saw Dr. Eckstein for a same day visit to address an acute and sudden issue. He was kind, thorough, and thoughtful. I would recommend him and everyone in Family Medicine to anyone.

We are so thankful for the care received, and for the abundance of stickers, tattoos, toys, and love from the staff! We know it can be hard to help children adjust to the environment of medical procedures, so the little things go a long way!
