Dr Topolski is a wonderful doctor!! He is very knowledgeable and personable. I have recommended him to several people!!

I wish the doctor would have explained more of my non surgical options. I've done research since talking with the doctor and I have found that there seems to be more non surgical options available that he did not talk about in any detail. My impression is he simply overlooked these options and went straight to knee replacement. After my doctor visit and doing my own research, I am a little bothered by that. The doctor did answer all of my questions that I had at the time, but at that time, I did not realize there were more non surgical options that I should consider than just going with knee replacement. I feel I would like to try those options first.

It was a waste of an appointment and insurance money. All the provider said was this 5 year follow up was for x-rays to make sure there is no wear and tear on the plastic pieces of the knee replacement. He could have told me everything looks good in a letter or over the phone instead of charging hundreds of dollars. Stop driving up the cost of healthcare with unnecessary appointments.

Doc had wonderful personality. Explained my options well. Confident in him doing my surgery.

Doc is a pleasant gentleman that cut through the fat and sugar coated nothing, in which I appreciate. The visit was informative as our next steps were made very clear and prompt. He truly understood that I am tired of living in pain and made short work of resolving this.

I wish you would not request a pre check for for every apt if you have been there before for other visits within the year you should not not a pre check unless something is changed.

Dr. Topolski was a great listener and understood my concerns. He gave excellent insight to my experience with my hip replacement needs.

Dr. Topolski is an amazing physician. He is personable, always shakes my hand and remembers my history. He explains outcomes realistically and allows me to decide what course is best for me. Gundersen/Emplify is fortunate to have Dr. Topolski on staff.

Too many repeated reminders about appointments!!

Would be nice after surgery a couple days if a PA or nurse would follow up with medication or treatment questions after going home.

The medical assistant was awesome. So friendly and personable. The best one since the beginning of seeing Dr. Topolski.

The care here is excellent and the GUNDERSEN NAME is known and well respected here and nationally. I think it is totally disrespectful to the Gundersen family and all of your patients and staff by changing it! Just think of all the money it will take just to change the name on buildings and written material alone, at a time when there is such great concern about the spiraling cost of health care already!

Dr Topolski is one of the busiest humans I have ever met. In seeing so many people, I feel like he gets a little desensitized to the news he often has to tell his patients. But then again, I am sure he assesses each person and how they should be spoken to. We've got an amazing doctor/surgeon in him. Thank you!

Dr. Topolski is great, he treats you with respect. He always has our business, and will be our 1st pick for a surgeon. We miss him in Whitehall Gundersen.
