Care Philosophy

My approach to family medicine is to meet patients where they are, listen carefully and understand what matters most to them. I aim to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care, while keeping the patient’s goals and circumstances in mind.

Personal Statement

My husband and I live on a small family farm in Iowa, where we help raise black angus cattle. I love to travel and have a goal of visiting every U.S. national park. Currently, I have traveled to about 20 of them. While I like to stay busy, I am also a big fan of relaxing and reading a good book.
