    I'm usually a Mayo patient. This is the third different dept. where my husband and I have had treatment. Each dept. has been extremely friendly, giving us all the time we needed. We are very happy with the care we've been given. Thank you.

    Dr. Thompson was great. I requested him. He does his job well, in a kind way. He has the skills and empathy, which in not always the case at Emplify. When I got home, I felt better than any other time I've had this procedure. The supprt staff couldn't have been nicer. They did everything they could to keep me comfortable. I plan to stick with him as long as possible.

    I had called the day before to see if I was gonna get the injections or if it would be like a meet and greet because I could've taken something to decrease my anxiety. I was told that I wouldn't get the injections so I didn't take the med. It worked ok but would've preferred that there was a possibility that I would get the shot. Thank you.

    Everything was rushed. I got there early but there was just one person at check in. Then it was twenty min after my appointment time before I was called . Then everyone commented on how they were behind which made asking questions seem annoying. Also I would have liked more explanation of the procedure. I came away clear that there were lots of choices for "being put out" but not really clear what would be done to me or what I could expect to deal with after. Everyone was very nice and very efficient but after awhile that just made me less confident about going through the procedure recommended.

    The physician and his care team were excellent. I had done my checkin online so I just needed to stop at the front desk to say I was there and to make my payment. That whole process was very impersonal. I wasn't sure if there would be anything else and the attendant finally stated that I was done. I picked up my purse and moved away with no comment as to where I could go or which door I would be called from, etc.

    Well, I'll tell you his staff that got me ready, that works with him, were very professional. They're really great. The only drawback that I have, and it really ain't much of a drawback, they try to rush you through. I mean, you're just with the doctor, just, well, he's just in there. They have everything ready for him. And I mean, he's out in, well, three seconds, three, four seconds and it's all over with. I wish he would take just maybe only an extra minute or so to just, you know, just talk to you. Because you more or less talk to your technicians if you have any questions or something. But he did put on a different medicine a little better. He thinks it's going to make a little improvement. So I want to thank him very much for that. I would say that you're very professional down there and keep up the good work.

    I had to sign for my husband so that a colleague of Dr. Thompson's could do the injection and he had a bad experience where the whole rest of the day he was just blowing his nose. We've hardly had any of that so maybe a colleague did the injection. That's it.

    I traveled three hours round trip for this appointment because the Emplify clinic in Friendship does not have the equipment to perform the YAG laser treatment that I needed. I spent more time traveling than I did for my entire appointment in LaCrosse. Please, consider providing the Friendship clinic with the necessary equipment needed for treatments such this.

    i did the E Check in - but when i got to the wiating room, My Chart did not ask me if i was there orto let them know that I had arrived so I had to check in at the desk. But Dr. Thompson is amazing.

    This was my first visit with Dr Thompson as my previous eye provider is no longer at Gundersen. I arrived early and got in 20 minutes early. Everyone was friendly and explained things well. Parking for East Building appointments is a challenge.

    Dr. Thompson is really nice, and seems to really care about his patients. I got in right away, I just sat down and was called to my appointment. The technician checked my eyes, and right after that Dr. Thompson came in for my appointment. I was just so happy the appointment went as fast as it did. It made me feel good to know my eye concerns has changed and my vision is good, or as good as it can be for me.

    The assistant tried to adjust the equipment to the patient, so he could remain in his wheelchair. He responded to her more than usual, so he felt comfortable with her, which means so much. Thank you for taking the time to get as accurate testing as could be done, and for adjusting his glasses so they fit him better.

    Dr doesn't say anything at all to you. But, he's good and what he's doing is working, so that's great. The nurse and techs are good at making sure you know what's going on, why you need to do for care and follow-up. The people at the check-in are always rude and make you feel like you're bothering them.

    I would like to say to healthcare providers, "Don't call women Dear because they are over a certain age!" This provider called me Dear twice. I had never met him before and don't consider it appropriate to call anyone Dear unless you do know them!
