The staff seemed competent and caring.

I found this appointment completely useless. The NP obviously can't make a decision without the MD, so why have me meet with someone who couldn't provide answers or next steps? Why not meet directly with the MD? Additionally, NP JK said he would have a note in MyChart regarding next steps etc., but the only note is a summary of this wasted appointment. This is why healthcare is so expensive - unnecessary appointments with middlemen that don't provide any value.

Jordan had obviously gone through my VA chart thoroughly and had seen everything I had been through over the years. I was much more impressed with him than on my previous visit to West Union. My only complaint was that the nurse who called me back didn't say my name correctly or even use the nickname provided. When I corrected her, she just gave me a look and repeated the incorrect name. Overall the visit exceeded my expectations especially after my visit with the doctor previously.

It was a long wait to get in for an appointment. Even follow up appointments are scheduling months out.

I was seen in a very timely manner, nurse or assistant was kind and helpful. Doctor was thorough and engaging to my situation. This was my first visit, and found my experience was very good.

I debated up until literally the day before as to whether I wanted to keep this appointment as I wasn't sure if I really needed it. After going I was very happy that I kept it. Even though he determined there was not a need for additional major testing done, I felt very relieved after this visit. He really listened to everything I had to say and had experienced. He researched things about me and my habits to come to this decision. He also made me feel very secure in that if anything else was questionable that I could easily contact him and he would put orders in to do further testing. I was very happy with his knowledge, how he treated me as a patient and how he informed me. I felt really good after leaving this appointment. When I first went in I felt very unsure of things and scared. By the time I left, I felt very informed, more knowledgeable and no longer scared, but confident in dealing with my particular issues.

Jordan was able to explain my issue and procedure very well. We came to an understanding that I would hopefully like to get this done during my "Glory Week". So not to miss work if not have to. Thanks. He was very personable.

It's hard to get appointments in the GI Dept. Even when your provider requests a 3-month follow-up I could not schedule that. I need to wait a couple of weeks and try again. This has happened to me before. I realize they are very busy. Thank you for providing health care in La Crosse!

I had to wait kind of long time when scheduling a test that was ordered by my provider. First, I had to schedule the test then once that was set in they had to schedule to make sure an anesthesiologist was available at that time. This took a while. I don't know if it's because of the new integrated computer system, but there has to be a fast way to set up a new appointment.

I was on the wait list and I got in about 3 weeks sooner and that was nice I was called. All staff were so friendly and helpful. The NP, Jordan, was so nice to talk with and answered all my questions. He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful with any concerns I had.

I am to see the same provider 1-2 weeks after a scheduled procedure and could not get a follow-up appointment scheduled until 2 months post procedure!

Excellent, as is customary!

It was very satisfying. The provider discussed new tests and treatments now available and much more advanced that what I have experienced in the past 40 years.
