Joel A Burnet, DO

I feel fortunate to have Joel Burnet as my PCP; he has treated me for over a decade. I feel comfortable with him, and we've had some good conversations. I recommend him highly, though he's already very popular, so I doubt he needs more patients.

Dr. Burnet has excellent bedside manners.

Dr Burnet does not rush you, includes you in the decision making process, follows thru with whatever consult or communication needs to be made. Is an excellent listener. His manner is always positive and pleasan.

I felt that Dr Joel looked at every aspect of my health history before making recommendations .

I have been seeing this provider for a long time. I trust him completely. I trust all the nurses that work with him. I think that that whole wing down there does a fantastic job.

Dr. Burnet listened to me, reviewed the different methods that have been used to deal with my recurrent pain, and helped me devise a plan to use moving forward. I feel better now about possible outcomes of dealing with my condition.

Due to parking difficulties I was 5 minutes late for my appt. Was told provider would have to approve being seen. When told I could be seen, was told I was fortunate provider was flexible. Not helpful or welcoming..bad attitude. Realizing I should have allowed more time I explained & apologized but felt it was a rude response given in an abrupt manner.

Dr. Burnet was the best ... I was very pleased with my visit with him. He took the time to answer my questions and concerns. The support staff was also superb.

Staff seem very comfortable working with each other and happy in their environment. Relaxed and professional, happy to be working there. You don't always see that at the other clinic(s) in the area.

It was the first time seeing this Doctor, he was very pleasant. His nurse was great.

Was very disappointed in the extent of my annual exam. Exam staff or doctor did not even weigh me, look in my ears, throat or eyes. I am disappointed in the extent of the physical. I even had to ask about blood tests that were in abnormal ranges. Thank goodness MyChart sends me the results. Seems all the doctor is interested in is my A1C not the balance of my health conditions unless asked.

Every thing was great

This was my annual exam, but I've been hospitalized three times in the last year, and each time I haven't been able to make an appointment with him a week later, instead being told to make an appointment with a PA I didn't know or go to Urgent Care. That isn't continuity of care, good medicine, or empathic. It's also exactly the opposite of the billboards offering same day care with a primary care provider (a provider, just not mine).

Dr. Joel Burnet is exceptional. Kind, caring, thorough and an excellent communicator.

Dr Burnet took the time to discuss all questions or concerns I had.

MD Burnet always takes the time to truly listens to you. He and his team are very responsive to calls and MyChart messages. He is easy to talk to and explains information so you can understand. I highly recommend him or anyone in Internal Medicine or Emplify to care for me, my family & yours.

No complaints but MYChart seems to to me anyway not to be fully up to speed on merger if you want to call it that Nothing hopeless and i assume in time the wrinkles will get sorted..
