I was amazed at how much time Dr. Davis spent with me listening to my questions and explaining my condition and the surgery I would need to correct my problem. He was compassionate and encouraging. I had heard of his excellent surgical skills. With this appointment I witnessed his caring people skills. I would highly recommend him to others in need. I have been dealing with my back related pain for about 4 months. Yesterday was the most uplifting day I have had thus far in this journey.

Dr Davis is an exceptional neurosurgeon. He diagnosed my health issue ten years ago. This visit was to discuss surgical options. He spent quality time explaining everything in great detail. He was thoroughly up to date on my health history from the past to present and explained my options in easy to understand terms. We looked at the recent MRI scans where he described what was medically wrong and what would be required during a lengthy surgery to fix it. I would highly recommend Dr Davis for his surgical expertise and his ability to explain the procedure in understandable terms. In addition, he provided the pros and cons to the proposed surgical solution. He also discussed non-surgical methods to control the pain. He answered all my questions completely and said that I should contact him any time of if I had further questions or if my condition worsened.

I enjoy my encounters at Gunderson medical the only suggestion I could make is the place is in need of a deep cleaning common areas have a shotty appearance

I was first referred to Dr. Davis in 2023. After listening to my history and reviewing my imaging, he validated my pain and my experience. Prior to meeting him, I had consistently been dismissed or told my pain was due to posture or something that physical therapy alone could resolve. At that time, one of my discs had completely ruptured and my vertebrae were nearly bone-on-bone. Dr. Davis replaced the disc and, because of him, my quality of life improved significantly. Fast forward to 2025: after years of ongoing neck pain and exhausting every standard approach without relief, I was once again referred to Dr. Davis. I was relieved and grateful to learn that he would be the surgeon overseeing my care. During this visit, it was discovered that I have multiple herniated discs in my cervical spine causing chronic pain, numbness in my arms and hands, and limited shoulder mobility-an issue previously dismissed as bicep tendonitis. Dr. Davis thoroughly explained what was happening (cervical stenosis), what my treatment and surgical options were, and patiently answered all of my questions. He also took the time to clarify a long-standing notation in my chart that suggested scoliosis. He explained that what was being seen was my body's physical response to severe pain-not an actual spinal curvature. He additionally confirmed that my jaw and ear pain are related to TMJ rather than the stenosis, which helped me better understand how to move forward with treatment in that area as well. For the first time in a long time, I feel heard. Living with chronic pain for years can deeply impact a person's daily functioning, emotional health, and sense of hope. Dr. Davis has given me back a sense of direction, relief, and genuine belief that improvement is possible. I trust him fully, and I know he is helping me reclaim my life. Dr. Davis is an exceptional physician-knowledgeable, compassionate, and committed to treating patients as whole people. I truly consider him a life-changing doctor, and I am profoundly grateful for the care he has provided.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Davis; we were very pleased with this experience especially with the way he explained the situation and options, listening intently, asking us relevant questions, etc. I feel totally confident in his care.

What I feared, what I stressed about - was the unknown. Dr. Davis was able to explain my condition, give me the treatment options and help guide me to my decision. I walked out of the office - still with some aches and pain, but with the peace of mind of knowing what was going on and what to expect with my recovery. Dr. Davis is a good egg!

I was having trouble with my microphone so IT was helping me. She had me do several different things and then my camera wouldn't work. I spent a good 1/2 hour with her on the phone trying to figure things out. I asked if the camera wasn't working since we were on the phone. She insisted that wasn't it. In the end that was the problem. I was then past my appointment time. I was so greatfull that the surgeon squeezed me in so we could schedule my surgery.

I am beyond grateful for Dr. Davis. He is an exceptional physician and a genuinely good person. I can't imagine where I would be right now if it wasn't for his amazing work on my lumbar spine. Even though I had a protracted recovery, I could not be more thankful for the exceptional care I received.

Dr. Davis is great! He was direct and to the point when explaining my condition to me, yet compassionate and caring when presenting my options for treatment. Dr. Davis has performed surgery on me in the past (with great success), and I would not hesitate to have him perform any surgeries on me in the future!

It's like a different planet comparing you to Mayo Clinic. They are so rude and condescending and treat you like a number not a person. Olmsted medical center is proving to have some of the same.... I can truly say, your staff is some of the kindest, empathetic people I've ever had the pleasure of helping me. And I've had a lot of medical issues throughout my life and have been in a lot of different places. God bless you people and your kindness in treating people.
