Now that I'm getting older I really appreciate being able to video visit

Everyone in this department are just wonderful.. I would not choose anyone else....Gundersen is the best...

I had a wonderful experience with Jennifer Albrecht at the endocrinology office. She was incredibly knowledgeable in explaining my options for treating clinical osteoporosis and took the time to walk through everything in a way that was easy to understand. What stood out most was her genuine compassion. I never once felt rushed - she made me feel like I was her only patient that day. That level of care is rare and deeply appreciated. The only downside to my visit was the check-in process. There was only one person working the front desk, and it took about 15 minutes just to get checked in. While I know there are MyChart and text options, I wasn't sure if those would be acknowledged while standing there, so I waited in line. The staff member was kind and apologetic, but it seemed like additional support could have helped during a busy time. Overall, Jennifer herself was outstanding and made the visit worthwhile.

This is just an overall observation. People using cell phones seem to think that everyone is interested in listening to their conversations. While waiting for my husband at the Onalaska Clinic, there was a lady in the ophthalmology waiting area who was talking very loudly on her phone. Apparently the person on the other end had to hang up for a while, but they soon reconnected--no emergency, just chatting. At my gym, they have a sign that says something like, "We realize that your calls are important, but please return the call later or take it outside away from our other clients." I would love to see something like this in your waiting areas.

Jennifer does sit and listen to you. And she asks me alot of questions too.

Jennifer Albrecht was just amazing. She was articulate and concise yet I understood everything she was explaining to us which in the world of endocrinology is not an easy task. I felt involved in planning what needs to happen going forward to assess what my particular situation is and how to fix it. She even gave me her business card so I could get a hold of her if I thought of questions or concerns after I left.

Jenifer and the rest of the team have always been very supportive and helpful in getting my numbers back in check to the point where I won't need to use Insulin anymore. I couldn't have done it without them.

We dealt with two different issues that needed explanations and treatment plans. Jennifer handled both to my satisfaction. I was glad I got to see here again.

Jennifer absolutely invested in my best health outcome. Professional and very knowledgeable.

Endocrinology seems to be the most organized department in the clinic! When they tell you they will contact you to make an appointment, they do that! They make appointments up to 6 months before and they make sure you are notified then! Very efficient department!

Jenny was extremely knowledgeable and listened to my concerns carefully. I felt heard and understood for the first time in a very long time.

Parking is difficult. entrance by revolving door needs to be nicer. Inside of doors where there were decorations was dirty and item was tipped over. Not impressed.

I felt she was very knowledgeable and explained everything great. I felt very satisfied with my visit.

Since I have some mobility issues to deal with, I am greatly appreciative of the kind and patient way I was treated by all the people that helped me. Every one of them ,from volunteers who helped me get to the various places I needed to be, to the professionals, each of them displayed the EMPATHY that your new logo speaks of. Thanks to all for making it a very good day!p.s. Good lunch in cafeteria too!

A good visit. Jennifer is smart, kind, good with patients in my experience. Her MA's are also kind, understanding and easy to talk with.

It's confusing to get an email several days before an appointment asking me to "check in." To me, checking in is something you do once you get to the waiting room for the appointment.

Provider was thorough, took her time.

Jennifer was so helpful, explained things clearly, and gave me a good plan going forward. I enjoyed our visit very much.

I have only to ongoing complaints. #1 Who ever thought it was a good idea to install rotating/revolving doors in a medical facility. I have Primary Progressive MS and HATE those doors. I walk very unsteady and they are a nightmare for anyone with a walking disability. #2 I see several providers in 4 buildings in La Crosse and Winona. There is only 1 department that walks WITH me to the exam room for my appointments . That is surgery in Onalaska. Everyone else walks about 10-15 ft ahead of me. It simply feels impersonal. I walk slow due to my disability so it feels like I'm a bother.

I was a little surprised(NOT offended) by the question-"are you religious".

Dr. Albrecht listens well, and provides great information. She took the time also to print a relevant article. I am glad she ordered all the extra tests to make sure everything else was okay. I also appreciate the new waiting list process where you get a text and an email if something is available. Otherwise, I might have waited until November.

I was disappointed that the location of the Endocrinology dept within the clinic was not readily available online. The direction link provides access to a street/road map to the Clinic.

Based on past experience I expect to be treated courteously and professionally by the Gundersen Staff, so I was not surprised by the interactions with the staff at my appointments yesterday. It was, though, something I noted during my experience. That I can expect such care, and to receive it in such a way that appreciation comes to mind as it is being delivered, is a testament to quality of care delivered. Kudos to all with whom I interacted yesterday and my profound gratitude for your care.

NP Albrecht is very professional and puts the anxious patient at ease. She answers questions with detail, respect and assurance that you understand.

This was an initial consult to discuss diagnosis and treatment options. The provider explained the patient's options in a very detailed and organized manner and answered all of our questions. Besides the patient there was also the guardian and caregiver (myself) present. It was clear to us that the provider had taken the time to really explore the patient's health history. She treated the patient who is developmentally and physically disabled, with kindness and respect. I would highly recommend this provider to anyone I know. One thing I will say, though, is that parking sucks at the main clinic! And it doesn't do any good to even have a handicapped sticker. We had to drive around for quite a while to find a spot. We do everything possible to avoid having to go to the main clinic altogether, but sometimes it can't be avoided.

As always, everyone involved with my care treated me with respect and showed a real interest in my current and future health concerns.

Emplify commercials are very juvenile and take away dignity of the Gundersen legacy!!!
