I'd like to say that I felt like I was in very good hands. The surgery went well. Dr. Lawrence was very kind and very efficient. He is a wonderful doctor. I couldn't have asked for better care.

I got an appointment sooner than expected. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Dr. Lawerence was exceptional. He listened to everything I had to say and explained everything in a way I could understand. E xay department was also very polite and helpful.

Everything's been going fine some swelling and stuff.

Dr. Lawrence is the best! I had him do my right knee and now he will do my left knee. So glad he's still doing knee replacements.

That Dr LAWRENCE takes the time and goes through everything and what to expect. Doesn't rush through the appointment to get to the next patient.

Dr Lawrence is an unbelievably good doctor and surgeon He explains things well and keeps improving what he does Where else can you get your knee replaced by the doctor who helped invent the robot used and has done more knee replacements than anyone in the world (10000)? I have had no pain at all and have recovered very very well. I keep running into people who had him do their knees and they all rave about him and his work We are so lucky to have him here. He is a national treasure. I thank the Gunderson system for doing such a good and well coordinated job in this knee replacement endeavor I called yesterday to give compliments to the nurses and anaesthesiologist and pt people who were part of the overall team

Why did Gundersen change it's business relationship with Vernon Memorial??

Despite running behind Dr Lawrence completed careful exam and explanations as well as giving me my graduation t shirt!

This was my 3rd replacement. Two hips and one knee. Dr. Lawrence did all three. He has helped me continue to be active so I can golf, ride my bicycle, and keep up with my grandchild. I can't thank him and his staff enough for the excellent care I received at Vernon Memorial Hospital. We have been so fortunate to have this level of medical care in our small town of Viroqua however it concerns me very much as to the rumors going around that Emplify is pulling out of Vernon Memorial. I worry when my other knee needs to be replaced where will I have to go to have the procedure done.

I've always been a fan of doctoring at Gunderson.

The only issue was that Vernon Memorial Hospital does not accept Quartz insurance; needed to get my knee X-ray in La Crosse. To have an Emplify clinic with an excellent orthopedic department and not be able to have X-ray covered at the attached hospital is strange. My husband and I have seen Dr. Lawrence for 20 years and this is a new inconvenience.

I'd had an X-ray at VMH 5 days prior to this visit that the desk person was unaware of as she tried to schedule another. They eventually found it. I was asked to fill out a form that I had completed online. The tech started to prep the wrong leg for the procedure. None of that was serious and was easy enough to correct, but it didn't give me a lot of confidence.

Wait times too long....in waiting room as well as in private office.

I was a somewhat worried going into surgery, thinking recovery/pain was going to be long & painful!! I am so totally impressed with Dr Lawrence and his team!! I am 6 weeks post a total knee replacement surgery. My scar looks great! Rarely have pain, unless I have over done something that day! Friends & family can not believe how well I am doing after this major surgery!! And I say, "It's Dr Jeffrey Lawrence!" I ?% highly recommend Dr Lawrence to everyone I talk to about my knee!! 5~?????

I had a chance to ask questions to some people who had the surgery 2 weeks prior To a person they said it was great and they were glad to have done it I talked to about 7 of these people

I was very pleased with my appointment. I had many questions and they were all answered. The procedure was explained to me and the watching the video really helped.

The only thing I think could have been handled better is if I need x-rays before seeing the doctor, let me know prior to me trying to check in for my actual appointment. When I went to check in, I was informed that I needed x-rays and I needed to take care of that prior to my appointment. Mostly just annoying not unbearable.

I am always so pleased wit everyone at Gundersen. All of the employees seem so happy and upbeat. What a great experience, again!

I feel like Dr Lawrence listened to my issue of continued pain after TKA and we have a plan to try to resolve the daily discomfort/pain I have experienced since my surgery.

I had Dr. Lawrence do my left knee or do the total knee replacement on my left knee about five years ago and it's been very good. It's worth the couple of weeks of pain to get good use out of your legs and since walking is my primary exercise, it will be very beneficial. Thank you.

I was at my appt. early. The woman checked me in so I sat down and waited. I was sitting there for quite a while and then asked another woman what time it was? I had been waiting for 50 minutes because for some reason I was Not checked in. This woman checked me in and let them know that I was indeed there for my 8:45 check in time. I don't know what happened....glich in the system? Everyone was very sorry I had to wait and I didn't goof up Dr. Lawrence's schedule. (I was glad about that) Everyone is always very nice and I really like Dr. Lawrence.

Good place to go when you need help

I seen Dr. Lawrence and he was very kind and nice except I didn't get the results from him that I expected. So I was quite disappointed, but it wasn't his fault. I'm looking for a second opinion and that's what he gave me. So thank you very much.

Dr Lawrence is amazing surgeon and individual.

The one thing that gets under my skin is constantly being asked to answer all the Medicare questions for every appt. I feel it's irritating and unnecessary.

I was not able to make the appointment because of weather conditions and me not sure of driving in the snow and cold really affects my COPD but making the appointment and working with people and making a second appointment was very professional and courteous and kind and I really appreciate that and I would recommend this organization. To anybody, thank you.

The abrupt discontinuation of my Quartz Health insurance has left me unsure that I can continue utilizing Gundersen Lacrosse & Viroqua services. Even present appointments in 2026 are in question. This is very sad due to my use of both to have Cardiology, Orthopedic surgeries and Cancer Radiology followed by excellent post care. The people and teamwork I experienced were very good and will be difficult to replace.

It could not have been more excellent! I am moving forward with a major surgery feeling well informed and confident in my decision. My consultation experience with this surgeon in particular leaves me feeling I will be receiving the best expertise and care from himself and the Gundersen staff!

I had both of my knees done and they both went really, really well. I had good follow-up from people calling. I had nurses I could call with questions I had. Dr. Lawrence explained things excellently. I am doing really, really well. He, at my last visit, I had some concerns and he said that, assured me that I would continue to keep improving and that I was only like eight weeks out. And I am improving. And so I'm so thankful to him and have heard so many good things about him and I definitely will recommend him to everyone. He explained the robot things to my husband and that was great. Just great how ?

Dr Lawrence is a professional and liked the video and will make a decision on how I feel and how I can handle the rehab if and when I do it.
