I feel like Dr Lawrence listened to my issue of continued pain after TKA and we have a plan to try to resolve the daily discomfort/pain I have experienced since my surgery.

I had Dr. Lawrence do my left knee or do the total knee replacement on my left knee about five years ago and it's been very good. It's worth the couple of weeks of pain to get good use out of your legs and since walking is my primary exercise, it will be very beneficial. Thank you.

I was at my appt. early. The woman checked me in so I sat down and waited. I was sitting there for quite a while and then asked another woman what time it was? I had been waiting for 50 minutes because for some reason I was Not checked in. This woman checked me in and let them know that I was indeed there for my 8:45 check in time. I don't know what happened....glich in the system? Everyone was very sorry I had to wait and I didn't goof up Dr. Lawrence's schedule. (I was glad about that) Everyone is always very nice and I really like Dr. Lawrence.

I seen Dr. Lawrence and he was very kind and nice except I didn't get the results from him that I expected. So I was quite disappointed, but it wasn't his fault. I'm looking for a second opinion and that's what he gave me. So thank you very much.

Dr Lawrence is amazing surgeon and individual.

The one thing that gets under my skin is constantly being asked to answer all the Medicare questions for every appt. I feel it's irritating and unnecessary.

I was not able to make the appointment because of weather conditions and me not sure of driving in the snow and cold really affects my COPD but making the appointment and working with people and making a second appointment was very professional and courteous and kind and I really appreciate that and I would recommend this organization. To anybody, thank you.

The abrupt discontinuation of my Quartz Health insurance has left me unsure that I can continue utilizing Gundersen Lacrosse & Viroqua services. Even present appointments in 2026 are in question. This is very sad due to my use of both to have Cardiology, Orthopedic surgeries and Cancer Radiology followed by excellent post care. The people and teamwork I experienced were very good and will be difficult to replace.

It could not have been more excellent! I am moving forward with a major surgery feeling well informed and confident in my decision. My consultation experience with this surgeon in particular leaves me feeling I will be receiving the best expertise and care from himself and the Gundersen staff!

I had both of my knees done and they both went really, really well. I had good follow-up from people calling. I had nurses I could call with questions I had. Dr. Lawrence explained things excellently. I am doing really, really well. He, at my last visit, I had some concerns and he said that, assured me that I would continue to keep improving and that I was only like eight weeks out. And I am improving. And so I'm so thankful to him and have heard so many good things about him and I definitely will recommend him to everyone. He explained the robot things to my husband and that was great. Just great how ?

Dr Lawrence is a professional and liked the video and will make a decision on how I feel and how I can handle the rehab if and when I do it.

I am very pleased with the outcome of my surgery and the quick response and care I got when I had questions. Therapy was excellent about getting me back to walking without cencerns

After making the decision to do the surgery, it would have been helpful to do any preoperative work on the same day (bloodwork, EKG, etc.) Almost 2 hours away with a busy schedule is frustrating to make it all happen.

I was sent a link & completed the updates, check in questions. But when arrived, the receptionist insisted on asking me same questions. I told her 3x I answered the questions online. Finally she went into the computer I found my answers/updates & didn't apologize/acknowledge for her error

Dr. Lawrence exudes competence the minute he walks into the room. His manners are impecable as well. I was so very pleased to have been able to see him.

I was amazed. Every employee that works at the hospital was so kind. Even when walking down the hallways, employees would say hello and one gal even asked if she could get me a wheelchair. The team at your facility is one that you can be proud of! The Dr. was an exceptional listener and also very kind. Dr Lawrence is a well known physician in the coulee region, yet he is unassuming with an absolute caring attitude. My hat is off to this place. Congratulations!!!!
