I received a response in a very timely manner.

Dr. Ryan spent a lot of time with me and explained everything clearly. She was able to accommodate a request about my BP meds to make it easier to travel and do social activities without compromising my health. I am very impressed with her depth of knowledge about many aspects of medicine and deeply appreciated her listening to my questions and concerns. The rest of the staff was very nice and very helpful also!

I waited over an hour to see a doctor which wasn't Dr. Ryan and then Dr. Ryan came in 10 minutes later which was maybe an hour and ten minutes. I sat in the room for over an hour and I'm not happy.

I had many procedures and a surgery in the Gundersen Hospital, LaCrosse, last summer, and even though my appointments were excellent in every way, except one, it was like being "Back Home Again" to be in the Decorah Clinic with the Staff and Dr. Ryan. This feeling of confidence in Staff and Doctors means so much to anyone when they are hurting and need guidance, understanding, and correct diagnosis. You have a Responsible, Caring, Hard Working, and Intelligent Clinic Staff, Doctors, Nurses, Cleaners. The only disappointment I have is with the technology Emplify placed in its hospitals and clinics, it is not the fault of the Decorah Clinic. Before the change I was able to use the MyChart well, to an older person who is not skilled with technology, the change is very unpleasant. New vocabulary is NOT easy to understand when one is not in the social world any more. Retirement does not allow, someone like me, to learn new vocabulary and then efficiently operate it. There are many retired people who love technology and manipulate it well, but those of us who have difficulty with it are left behind to struggle at its use. Everyone is supporting the new world, which has to be done. Thank you for listening.

I could deal with the repetitive acknowledgement of my current medications (on-line, then when speaking with nurse), then reviewing where the system flagged my high cholesterol (Hah! mostly good LDL), so I am very pleased with our discussion and response to a mole on my head that I could not see clearly. Thank You!

Dr Janet Ryan is the BEST! It was my first time seeing her since my husband passed away. She showed me so much empathy and kindness. Dr Ryan truly cares about her patients' overall health, both physical and mental. She is an amazing, caring physician!

The appointment was an hour late after the scheduled time! I probably won't again choose a late afternoon appointment time!!

Dr. Ryan is a very pleasant person, and even though I know she's extremely busy, she takes her time and spends it with me when I come in, and I appreciate that.

I had a terrible time with accessing my chart - but that's entirely on me . Dr. Ryan even offered to help me, which I declined. I came away with a clear plan moving forward. I have the best physician

Dr. Ryan continues to be the best! We are so thankful for her care, the time she takes with us, and her personal, relational manner of caring for her patients. All the staff are helpful, kind, and amazing.

The only reason I gave the last category an 8 rather than a 10 is because of the overload of appointment reminders-asking 30 minutes before the appointment time if I am here when I live only 10 minutes away doesn't make sense

your response to phone calls could be somewhat better. And I'm not saying this was for this particular visit, but it's something I've been noticing perhaps from this visit and perhaps from other visits. So OK, thank you very much. Bye bye.

Dr. Ryan is great! I can not say enough about her care, how she listens and has a genuine conversation about my health. I appreciate if she is unsure of something she will dig to find more information or sends me to a specialist if needed. I think MyChart could be more user friendly. I will not check in thru that because if something happened and I could not show up at the last minute is a problem and I prefer a person to double check they have my info and there is no confusion.
