I believe that the best cardiac care happens when patients feel heard, informed and genuinely involved in their own care. My role is to bring the expertise, and together we build the plan.
Personal Statement
What drew me to cardiology was the ability to build lasting relationships with my patients while using advanced imaging to detect and prevent heart disease before it becomes life-threatening. I find deep fulfillment in translating complex test results into clear, actionable plans that give my patients confidence and peace of mind about their heart health.

He was a great communicator, very down to earth, easy to talk to. Explained everything completely - I was very happy with my visit experience. We're moving out of the area plus I may not even need a cardiologist, so I'm sad to lose him as a provider

Great to meet my new cardiologist, Dr. Jamal. Very thorough and very encouraging. Also, the staff throughout my visit were smiling, warm, and engaging. Gundersen in Whitehall is such a blessing to me personally, and I am confident to the community and area as well! Thank you!!!!

Hi, I was uncomfortable when I checked in there at the check-in desk. I realize you probably don't have any choice in doing this, but I'm sure that the person that I checked in with was transgender and kind of felt uncomfortable around that person. So just to let you know, bye.
