    People providing treatment are excellent. Billing process very non-transparent, with invoices received with no information about what is being paid for.

    I was pleased with the explanation Erica N. provided and the next step that she suggested, which appeared to be the most realistic progression to follow. I was able to move along to the next step right away without having to make another appointment. However, NP Erica also gave me several other options that were available to me if the primary option wasn't the most attractive.

    The provider was changed on the original appointment without calling me and I do not like that. I made a different appointment with Erica Neumeister, which is the provider I want to see. I want to be called if there's going to be any change to my visit.

    My consultation with Erica was productive, and she provided a few options for diagnostic treatments available to me. She listened carefully to my symptoms, and the history behind my current health issues that contribute to my symptoms. She provided materials to me for use of an at-home sleep analysis device, and instructed me upon where I could receive further help if needed.

    I really don't understand what I just went through with a sleep medicine online questionnaire visit. They called and canceled my video visit this Friday to fill out a questionnaire instead and have somebody look at it and and make the notes based on my answers? From what I'm reading in the aftercare documentation, I don't think anybody looked at my statistics from my CPAP machine to make sure everything was as it should be. To be honest with you, I'm very confused about the whole thing. From what I can tell, Medicare is going to be billed based on a questionnaire, I filled out? I was provided with recommendations that are just standard recommendations about sleep apnea. I'm very confused.

    It was the PA who made my visit the best. I was glad to be able to receive treatment early due to a cancellation. The wait to be seen was long but the treatment made up for that. Some things like dealing with Medicare and insurance were out of Gundersen's hands so all in all I would return to this PA.

    It is somewhat confusing to determine when i needed to be at the office, between the check in time and the actual appointment. I almost lose my appointment as i arrived at the appointment time and not at the check in time. I thought i could check in online

    I felt that my visit with Erica Neumeister went great! She listened to all my concerns and answered all of my questions. She had a plan for my sleep apnea issue and how we should proceed. I would highly, highly recommend her to anyone suffering from sleep apnea. She was very caring!

    The question about sex should not need to be answered at all. All choices are poor. But if something is not chosen, it will not finalize. There was NO notification to use East entrance (not Founders) until one got to the door. If I'd known, I would have parked elsewhere. I feel sorry for someone who cannot walk extra steps!!

    The check in process was not pleasant complete! Insurance coverage changes ( new) were not requested to be entered into the computer / database until the medical eval was over. Then the scanner was supposedly " not working" I was sent to Billing dept told they could get pre-authorization for test equipment ( covered by Medicare and supplemental insurance) to be taken home. The billing rep said that dept does not make those calls. Who does ??? How does the Clinic expect to get paid IF they don't call to confirm coverage? I was told it may be 2 weeks or more for someone ??? to call me with an authorization code and then I must return to the clinic to pick up the test equipment. My medical issue isn't urgent - but what about the patients whose issues are? Why do seniors on the whole get treated poorly by the business reps ? Perhaps these reps need more training in the nuances of customer communications. NOTE: The Nurse Provider and her supporting staff were excellent! The business associates were not. The reps ( Check in / out and Billing ). seemingly not interested in resolving the issues at hand. Minimally engaged in essential processes .

    I had called ahead to find out why I needed to arrive by 130 for a 2 pm appointment, I was told there was a lengthy list of question that were to be answered prior to the appointment. I was then told that I could fill out the questions via My Chart. I inquired that if I did this would I still have to be there at 130. I was told yes . I said if the sheet was filled out why should I sit there for a half hour. Why offer the ability to fill out the questions in advance if it provides me the patient no benefit or flexibility for my arrival time. Seems rather silly to me

    The Tech who explained the home sleep study needs to slow down and demonstrate how to wear and apply the monitor. She would ask if any questions and not wait for a response. When I asked about taping the monitor to the chest she questioned the other Tech and RT if she hadn't explained it well. May want to consider a quick video or a sample monitor for hands on application. Rest of staff and the 2 individuals in the room along with the MD were very nice and friendly.

    I arrived less than 15 minutes before my appointment due to construction and a traffic accident. The receptionist was not rude, but explained that the medical assistant would probably tell me to reschedule. Perhaps this is a big problem for the department, but it has not been any problem in the past for me. Ultimately, she called back to them and once they realized I had done all the questionnaires in advance, I was allowed to stay but had to wait well past the appointment time. In this manner, I was not treated like a unique person. Nevertheless, the provider was great, and the overall experience was positive. I considered having to wait, but being seen a fair resolution.

    Dr. Erica Neumiester & Nurses Staff Are All Top Notch ! They Treat Each Patient With Great Dignity And Respect. Dr. Erica Neumiester And Every Nurse In The Sleep Center Take The Time To Listen To Every Concern That I Have And I Highly Recommend Anyone Who May Be Having Trouble With Any Issues With Their Sleep Routine To Ask Their Provider For A Referral To The Sleep Center Here In La Crosse. Of It Wasn't For Dr. Neumiester And Her Staff I Wouldn't Be Writing This Review Today.
