For whatever reason my insurance wasn't working when I checked in. I am 100% covered through my employer and would have appreciated if, while I was in my appt, the receptionist had made a call to medica to see what the deal was. In the end I made a call after the fact to my insurance and then to emplify to reiterate that the provider #s were correct.

Doctors on my chart need to put in an explanation of what a patient test results mean. Or have their nurse set up a follow up appt to explain the next course of action!

Every person at the La Crescent clinic is friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. From the person at the check-in desk, to the MA, to the PAs, to the lab techs, I felt like I was in good hands. This is how a medical visit should be.

My Dr. was excellent, very caring and listened to all of my concerns. She asked questions that led to more discussion about my illness. it was very obvious that she really cared about me and helping find a solution to my issue. She knew about my past medical issues and we talked about that, I am totally pleased with the care I received!

This visit was about a condition that can be embarrassing, but Emily and her nurse made me feel comfortable throughout the whole visit and exam and Emily was very thorough.

She said she used to work in rheumatology, so we were curious how she is a general practitioner or if she is and what she did in rheumatology. Just simply curious. She was very good and we would've considered her as a primary care physician so we asked where she works and she said rheumatology and now floats.
