This provider and her staff, are very friendly, knowledgable, efficient and a pleasure to work with. There are some providers and staff in your system who rush through appointments, make me feel dismissed and concerned they are not listening.

Dr. Schurtz (and the medical resident with her) really listened to me. I sensed genuine concern for my health and how it was impacting my life. While I know that corporations like Emplify train their staff to be caring (and understand why they do), real caring doesn't feel "institutional" AND also requires that the people who work for the corporation be cared for by the corporation as genuinely as they are expected to care for patients. So I hope that Emplify is treating Dr. Schurtz and the others on her team (and everyone else, including the administrative assistants and building caretakers) with the same care they want her to care for me. For example, I get these surveys each time I see a provider at Emplify, so caring for your staff (employees) equally would mean they have frequent chances to provide feedback about how they are treated. My prayer is that Emplify can focus on being a truly caring health care program with profit margin as a necessary part of a stable system but not the purpose or focus of the corporation.

Things concerning my medications were not the same as in office. No way to change meds either yes or remove

I am very happy with the Gunderson Clinic doctors that I have encountered. I'm impressed with their caring attitudes. You can really tell that they are listening to you. They explain everything very well also.

Even though I saw a surgeon, she didn't necessarily recommend surgery for my problem, she is doing some other investigation. Thankful for Dr Schurtz!

Dr was not gentle in the moment of my arm. She did not know that the upper arm was broken in May. The surgery itself went well.

Good people

My appointment experience was excellent. I do, however, have complaints about Gunderson's billing partner. I receive emailed notices of payment due, but the emails and MyChart pages don't itemize/provide clear easy access to exactly what the payment is for. Also, I don't want to pay online with a credit card, and the payment mailing address should be easier to locate on the notices. The system is very inconvenient and frustrating.
