Earlier in the day I attended an appointment with my 2 month grandson at Onalaska for a check up. I find it hard to believe you do not have automatic door openers for these parents with their strollers, bags etc. They are not even handicap accessible???

Appointment with Dr Hughes was outstanding. He explained everything that was going on. He also explained my options to me. I trust Dr Hughes. I trust him with my care. While I am still deciding on what to do if I decide to proceed I would only trust Dr Hughes to do the procedure.

Compliments to Dr. Hughes: I believe his diagnosis was correct. He directed me immediately to orthopedic services and expedited my getting an appointment for evaluation of hip related pain and loss of walking ability. I will communicate with him after my appointment.

The wait was minimal. Freindly people, after we were done had one more question. The attendant come over after 10 minutes to see if we wanted to wait or they should call us. They passed the message to the Dr. Our wait for the EMG is really out there. Dr. said he would see if we could get in sooner than later. Would recommend you?

I just want to trust that I am doing the right treatment for my health and L Leg Pain Issue. Hopefully, the Steroid Injection will help. I'm disappointed that it takes 1 1/2 months to get it done!

Dr. Hughes showed all the x-ray and MRI pictures and explained what they showed. He told us what would need to be done to repair the problem and did not push us to decide anything right then. I felt that he was very trustworthy.

I found MD. Hughes to be a very intelligent man with great patient communication and well rehearsed to perform any degree of surgical technique needed to aid me in the effort to escape back pain. In fact I am anxious to allow him to start whatever process is next in my everlasting quest to mitigate pain from the spinal column.

I'm very disappointed with my appointment with Dr. Hughes. I had back surgery a year ago July and I'm not doing any better. I was basically told I have no symptoms to have another surgery. My MRI after the surgery shows the disks are repaired. I wasn't asking for another surgery just want to know why I'm still in pain. He basically said, you have chronic back pain and I've done my job. Your on your own. His bed side manner is pathetic. It was like just live with it. I will be getting another opinion. It was like quit being a cry baby amd quit complaining.

Just wish your hospital was a little closer. But other than that I think they all were amazing even the people that check you in and out. Very friendly and helpful people. I appreciate all them.

Initial reception, care team and surgeon were fantastic in all interactions. While waiting I had a question returning to reception desk. My interaction was not with the receptionist that checked me in. I was shocked by how disrespectful and rude that she felt she could be to me I asked if I should seek help else where. I was surprised that someone felt they could speak that way to patients actually anyone.

Dr Hughes gave me the best healthcare visit I have ever experienced at GL. 100% (10) from his nurse through the whole process of examination, the EMG team and the ultimate review of the EMG results with Dr Hughes and best for last, I have been put on the schedule to have the pain I have been experiencing corrected by Dr Hughes! It was like I had won the lottery! As mentioned, absolutely the best appointment ever!

Dr Hughes knew what he was talking about, but it seemed like he would fixate on one question & not give opportunity to ask other questions.

I value Dr. Hughes input and trust his abilities 100% . It is difficult to get an appointment in Neurology. Everyone has treated me well though. Thankful everyone is there to help me!! Thank You!
