I was concerned that the medical assistant who inserted a urinary catheter to check for residual urine didn't put on sterile gloves. Is this now a clean procedure vs sterile? Really appreciated the picture handouts provided by Dr Sanderson. Very informative.

Overall the appointment was great. Two exceptions: when provider said would collect urine sample, he did not say it would be via catheter and the only warning was that I would feel some pressure but no explanation of why. Only after the appointment did I realize he had catheterized me for that sample. Also he said it was time to prescribe medication, no discussion of options, my opinion.

I arrived very anxious about what was happening to me. This provider and team set my mind at ease and I am confident my issues will be solved in the near future. Thank you for your compassion and shared knowledge which ultimately will help resolve my issue.

This was my first time at the Winona Gundersen clinic. Each and every person was very welcoming and professional. The atmosphere was smaller than the bigger main or Onalaska clinic.

Quick, efficient and thorough.

My comment has to do with what to expect after the visit. Nothing was said about anything about how the testing would affect me and things that I might experience that would be normal as opposed to, yeah, it's going to be different, but it'll clear up in a couple days. So some of the things that are happening to me, I'm not sure whether it's normal or if I should report it. So I think that could be explained better.

I found both Doctor Sanderson and his medical assistant to be very kind and friendly. What could have been an anxious time really wasn't. They both explained each step in the exam and then he gave good information on types of treatment.

The Ma was so professional and made an awkward situation less embarrassing. She was teaching a new employee, but still made me feel like I was the most important person in the room.

I like that a person can make their own decision to see a specialist and not need a Drs referral. Making a phone call to explain what my concerns were; the staff made it easy to make an appointment. The staff gave details on getting to the hospital and the correct floor. Very satisfied!
