Dr Dawson and his team were great! I was asked to schedule follow up appts and get crutches from the check out desk. The girl didn't seem to want to help me and said I could get the crutches when I come to another appointment and the doctors team would call me to schedule my post op follow up appointments. So now I will be calling back myself to get them scheduled when I could have had it all done already. I've been to several appointments lately and I must say the staff I have encountered at check in could certainly use some training on being warm and friendly at Gundersen/Emplify.

There seems to be a glitch in your on-line registration process. Sometimes I can fill out the SS questions, sometimes they are not offered. Everytime i try to use the "I'm here" check in, it does not work. I also could not use the "travel" questions as it didn't recognize Minnesota when i tried to search for my locations, let alone Curacao.

All staff were professional, very courteous, and explained things so I understood. Good experience

My sister set up the appointment, so I cannot comment on how smoothly that was done, but from the moment I walked in to the podiatry area, I was treated as a person with respect and care throughout my visit. Doctor Dawson is awesome and every member of the staff who assisted my visit was engaged, responsive, and focused on assisting me.

I had a very early appointment and I thought i would get my treatment done that day and my insurance probably won't pay for this visit.

Dr. Dawson, pct and nurse, all were so caring and knowledgeable. So important!

Dr. Dawson and his resident student were awesome! Great bed side manner and answered our questions and concerns.

It was refreshing to be able to resolve my medical issue at the initial visit, instead of having to wait 2-3months to get another appointment for an in-office procedure.

Everyone was great from the from front desk lady with the great glasses to Dr Dawson and his nurse. We just moved here from Texas so thank you for being so kind.

I think it would be beneficial to allow patients to make appointments in MyChart with providers and departments they have not been to before.

My pain is gone walking better

Sometimes using my chart, I have issues. So that's why I press the eight. Thank you.

No broken bones. No osteoarthritis. But dont know what to do about the swelling of my foot

Dr. Dawson has been my podiatrist for over 20 years. I trust him explicitly and have referred family and friends to him because of his expertise, kindness, and thoroughness.

My appointment today was the absolute best! Awesome doctor and assistant. Both kind, caring, added with a great sense of humor and they got the job done.? Information was clear, concise. I left with no unanswered questions about after care etc.

Dr Dawson and his staff seemed very kind and answered questions with caring and knowledge.

They had trouble with a new orthodic material that took a very long time to dry. I had to lie on my stomach for 20 to 30 extra minutes. The nurses kept checking on me were really nice.

Dr. Dawson is fantastic.

I realize it's the way of the world now, to do as much digitally as possible (ie check in), but for health care in particular, human interaction is best. MyChart is always very confusing.

I feel that I over changed for X-ray and to see the doctor. $85 for X-ray $45 to see the doctor.

Not having been to sports medicine for several years, I felt like the outdoor signage was not adequate. Once we realized we were in the right place, the experience was wonderful.

Grateful for the good care

I was concerned about getting a shot in my toe so put appt off for year. Would have been nice to know ahead of time that they freeze the area with a spray so I didn't even feel the shot!! Worried for nothing - which was great but wished I knew ahead of time about the process so I didn't put it off. Thank you

Dr. Dawson is a wonderful doctor as well as a great human being. My favorite!

Was told by the nurse that this doctor could look at an issue I was having related to my toes. That he would have time to trim the nails but when the doctor came in you could tell he was not going to do anything. He looked at my foot where stitches were just taken out and told me to have my primary doctor take care of it in two weeks when I was seeing her next.
