My second appointment with Dr Dawson .. excellent care and treatment plans

We frequently have appointments at the Onalaska Clinic and the appointment details show the floor. The Podiatry appointment did not contain this information on MyChart appointment details, so we had to stop at the Customer Service desk. My recommendation is to include the floor for Podiatry, for a better way finding experience.

The provider walked in and never introduced himself. Never asked about me or what I did. I felt like I was just a number and rushed

You asked about my experience with Doctor David Dawson. I didn't even see him until his assistant a nurse practitioner was done treating my foot and he checked the nurse practitioners work, so I really can't give you any feedback about Doctor Dawson.

Dr Dawson and his team were great! I was asked to schedule follow up appts and get crutches from the check out desk. The girl didn't seem to want to help me and said I could get the crutches when I come to another appointment and the doctors team would call me to schedule my post op follow up appointments. So now I will be calling back myself to get them scheduled when I could have had it all done already. I've been to several appointments lately and I must say the staff I have encountered at check in could certainly use some training on being warm and friendly at Gundersen/Emplify.

No wait time very professional answered my questions

There seems to be a glitch in your on-line registration process. Sometimes I can fill out the SS questions, sometimes they are not offered. Everytime i try to use the "I'm here" check in, it does not work. I also could not use the "travel" questions as it didn't recognize Minnesota when i tried to search for my locations, let alone Curacao.

All staff were professional, very courteous, and explained things so I understood. Good experience

My sister set up the appointment, so I cannot comment on how smoothly that was done, but from the moment I walked in to the podiatry area, I was treated as a person with respect and care throughout my visit. Doctor Dawson is awesome and every member of the staff who assisted my visit was engaged, responsive, and focused on assisting me.

I had a very early appointment and I thought i would get my treatment done that day and my insurance probably won't pay for this visit.

Dr. Dawson and his resident student were awesome! Great bed side manner and answered our questions and concerns.

It was refreshing to be able to resolve my medical issue at the initial visit, instead of having to wait 2-3months to get another appointment for an in-office procedure.

Everyone was great from the from front desk lady with the great glasses to Dr Dawson and his nurse. We just moved here from Texas so thank you for being so kind.

I think it would be beneficial to allow patients to make appointments in MyChart with providers and departments they have not been to before.
