He was responsible for hospital rounds this week. He apologized for being late, still took time to take care of my needs and questions.

I feel Dr Dan was interested in me and what I needed for my health concerns. He spent the necessary time to listen to me.

Dr. Wientzen was very helpful, informative, and provided the right outcome I needed and told me to contact him in a week to update if my symptoms were relieving or not so he can further my treatment plan.

The person who checked me in was very short when talking to me and came across as being rude.

I am always disappointed when I can never have an appointment with my physician that I have been seeing for 20 years. I see her once a year for an annual wellness check. I make that appointment a year ahead of time. So any unexpected illness you always have to see a new provider. I understand doctor shortages in small communities but even if they could leave two slots per day for unexpected visits. I was told that I just have to call right at 7:30am on the day of my sickness and hope I'm the first caller. ps I do appreciate our facilities and staff and would agree to see this new provider again.

I do not like to use my phone for financial or medical business purposes. I prefer to use my desk top computer for these purposes. All else is good!

Not on My Chart don't know how 2 do it need help

My technician who took a blood drawing couldn't find the vein on my left arm. She eventually switched to my right arm, but there's been a two-inch long bruise on my left arm all week.

I wish I would have gone in a couple of days earlier to get feeling better sooner.

Sometimes I am confused with explanations and try to make it so that I can understand. Some nurses talk way to fast with there explanations to catch all the information. I had to slow them down a little bit. Way to much info in a short time.

I know that I can always depend on the Drs and staff at Gundersen to provide me with the best care possible.

My chart is ridiculously hard to sign in. Every time I try to sign in it sends me to get a code by email or text. I just give up.

Dr. Wientzen listen to what I had to say with an open mind and answered all my questions thoroughly. I highly recommend him to anyone that asks for a recommendation.

It was my first time meeting DANIEL WIENTZEN and he was kind, professional and listened very well. Also Chris and her trainee/student were so nice. I always feel welcome and cared for at Gundersen.

I believe that part of a person's "healing" and overall "wellness" come not only from medical procedures and pharmaceuticals but from the way in which an individual is received, seen, and heard by all the clinic personnel. Our local Gundersen Clinic provides positive experience from beginning to end. The person who took my initial call to set up the appointment was pleasant and helpful. The person who checked me in was welcoming. The nurse who tended to the in-take data was kind and easy to talk with (even though it was our first meeting). And the doctor ---- provided necessary information about my condition, answered all my questions, listened to my concerns, AND gave reassurance that if I had any further concerns or questions to be sure to contact him / one of his nurses. But BEFORE that, the doctor greeted me by name. Connected with me as a person FIRST before addressing the MEDICAL element. (I greatly appreciate that!) I left the clinic with Peace of Mind knowing I was in good hands. And THAT is the biggest part of my health and wellness today! Thank you.

Dr. Wientzen, his medical student, and his nurse were all, as expected, very friendly, competent, and efficient. It was informative to both the team and me. It was also a very friendly environment which I always appreciate. I made my appointment for next year before I left the clinic.
