Dr. Tookey and his nurse were excellent.

Dr, Tookey is an excellent physician. He is very knowledgeable and patient. Plus, he is genuinely interested in the wellbeing of his patients and takes extra time to simply talk. Along with this, the staff at the Sparta Gundersen clinic are wonderful. They are very helpful and respectful.

The lady that took my blood pressure and asked me questions before the doctor came in, was very focused on getting out of work for the day. She was upset at me for showing up at 4 pm which I was told to do. Her first words to me were very snarky. I did not care for her. Dr Tookey was very kind and listened carefully to me. He seemed to care.

Excellent experience

The MA who roomed me before the provider had me change for my pap smear immediately so the whole time talking with the doctor I was undressed and covered with a sheet. Would have been more comfortable to discuss concerns fully dressed and then given a moment to prep for the pap smear. Overall it was fine but definitely affected my comfort level.

I arrived a little late and everyone worked hard to accommodate me. Thanks!

i am not very tech savy so it seemed a bit little much

This was our first time visiting the Sparta clinic, we did so because we needed a sooner appointment. It was an overall pleasant experience but I must say we were quite disappointed that my daughter didn't receive a book as she does for her appts in La Crosse and Onalaska. We inquired about it and were told they don't offer that program for the Sparta location. This is something that would definitely deter us from visiting that location again. My kids love the books they get and it creates a positive experience for them to receive them from their care providers.
