Care Philosophy

I’m a clinical social worker with a passion for working with individuals across the lifespan. In my practice, I provide supportive listening and unconditional positive regard. I use evidence-based techniques to help patients achieve their self-care goals. I focus on both future goals and past experiences, including traumas. In each session, I spend time teaching my patients skills and techniques that they can immediately use to make progress toward their personal goals. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), The Gottman Institute methods and Theraplay techniques.
