I had a multi-week wait for an appointment. On the phone and in person they seemed more concerned about making sure I knew my medical insurance would not pay than they did with making sure they got my dental insurance information correct. The check-in seemed haphazard, with no one at the desk when we arrived, then someone who had us fill out forms but missed some signatures and had to come find us. I'm still not sure we got the form or the insurance info correctly recorded. Then there was a fairly long wait in a crowded waiting room. The provider was running behind. This all seemed really unusual for Gundersen, where my experience has usually involved friendly efficiency and timeliness. The nurse who finally collected me, the provider herself, and her observing student were all friendly, professional, and helpful.

Stop treating patients on Medicare and Medicaid like they aren't as important as people who you have big insurance we paid for our care

Cecilia Lovinger was perfect! She explained everything that was going to happen and assured me I would be comfortable through the whole process. She genuinely cares for her patients.

I would suggest ditching the sign in kiosk on level five. You have people sitting right there and it looks really bad to have people watching you attempt to sign in, and then say "that's OK, come over here I'll get you signed in.". We had two boys getting their wisdom teeth removed this week and that was the one thing that I thought you could easily do away with and improve the patient experience significantly, significantly in terms of reducing anxiety that is already present coming in for a surgical procedure. Additionally, for what it's worth, it does make you feel like a number and it is impersonal. I'm sure some people like it, but I didn't.

Everyone was great! Cecilia was amazing and walked me through each step. She calmed my nerves and the procedure was much more tolerable than I was expecting it to be!

Yes, a couple of questions that I was confused. As far as would I recommend you, I really don't think that's an appropriate question for a survey like this. Not to be smart or anything like that, but I don't believe I should be used as a shill for anybody. And as far as did I do okay with computers, your system, your digital, I don't have any of that stuff. So I recommend maybe putting another end of that question just saying no answer or I have no opinion or something like that. Thank you.

Dr. Lovinger was absolutely amazing!!! She did a fabulous job removing my tooth and did as minimal damage as possible. She was so sweet and funny too and really made me feel less anxious about the whole procedure. She performed it quickly too! I was totally shocked when they told me they were already done. I will definitely recommend her!

Provider was good but a different one than I had in the past.

There was a plastic covering over a handle on a ceiling light use to look into your mouth. The plastic bag fall on the floor and it was placed back on the light handle, doesn't seem hygienic at all.

Doctor Lovinger was great. I'm very glad she was able to help my situation after having complications from before.

Took forever to get in and my apt got delayed staff was great except I couldn't even sit next to my ride in the waiting room I had to sit in for 38 minutes because it was so full
