My surgery with Dr. Abicht went very well and recovery was as expected. Very thankful for Dr. Abicht and his knowledge and skills with what he does. I am very satisfied with with the outcome and Dr. Abicht.

Would be nice to be able to see all the pics they took during surgery, cant seem to find them in my chart!

I felt the provider did a great job explaining the status of my daughter's condition regarding her feet. He also informed us with options to consider if problems were to persist. We felt it was an informative visit.

I was wondering if I could make all my other appointments at the Hillsboro clinic because it's closer for me

My Chart continues to be a challenge. Especially difficult to get into! "Forgets" my password. Ugh! I had a very patient person help me but it took over 1/2 hour!

The resident looked very uninterested when the provider came in. She sat and stared off into space during the provider interview

In my chart, under cost estimates, procedures listed are very sparse and unclear.

I very much appreciated Dr. Abicht's thorough assessment, correcting a very long standing callus that was making it impossible to walk most of the time, and suggesting an additional type of padding that makes walking possible without disabling pain. The MA was very patient and fashioned the correct padding fit by listening to me and taking the time to make sure it would work.

Dr Abicht was very good. I was pleasantly surprised that the pain during the procedure was almost nonexistent. Dr. Abicht had a medical student with him, and he was also very kind. Even though I was nervous, they made me feel at ease.

Dr. Abicht and staff are top notch. Answered all my questions and made it very clear on proceeding with treatments.

I'm a very technologically challenged senior citizen and have a lot of difficulty with everything being digital now. I barely know how to use an iPhone and then I have to navigate questionnaires etc on line. I still love paper copies

My doctor was beyond amazing. I trust him 150%. He takes the time to explain things. I had tons of questions and he answered all of them. Gundersen should be very blessed that they have him on their team. I would definitely recommend him to others as he has restored my faith at Gundersen Lutheran. Thank you.

The only negative is I have called the scheduling team twice to schedule surgery and I have left two messages with no callback

It was my first followup visit after bunion surgery. All my questions were answered. I was seen on time.

My nurse was a little rough so that's my only complaint. Dr Abicht is amazing!

I don't like having to check in online every time I have an appointment. The same questions are asked every time. I find this quite redundant.

Dr. Abicht is an excellent doctor. He did not hesitate on what our options were for treatment of my achilles injury. He presented both options to gauge my feelings about them, which I really appreciated. I trust him 100% to take care of me during my surgery.

I thought the provider was understanding of my concerns and why I was there. I think he did a good job going over the options and he didn't try to steer me away from care that I am looking to get done. The only thing that I was not ok with is that he did not ask if it was ok if the observing resident provider was in the room with us. It is taught to us in medical school that in those situations, we are supposed to ask if the patient is ok with another person being in the room. It is the patients right to say no and for the observing provider to step out on that appointment. Other than that it was fine.
