I was disappointed in the wait time. My appointment time was 8:20 and the provider didn't come into the room until 9:20. The wait is consistently an issue at this clinic.

I waited in the room for over 30 minutes on both visits. When an appointment is set, I understand some kind of leeway, but both times in is completely unacceptable when I can hear the doctor just shooting the breeze in the next room. He's paid to be there, I'm not. I was on time for both appointments. I stood up to walk out, when he finally opened the door.

Dr. Brad is a very knowledgeable and caring optometrist.

y appointment was at11a.m. and he was late coming in 11:45 would have been nice if someone would have come in and said he was running late. There was a lot on talking I could hear and giggling going on

As with all the staff in Winona and Lacrosse, my care needs are always being addressed with courtesy and concern.

I love going to Gundersen for my optical needs. Dr. Wolner and the whole staff are really great. The folks helping size and order the glasses are terrific, too.

The doctor is great. My problem with the eye clinic is long waits. My appointment was for 1:30. I waited 15 minutes for the tech to come in. She was fine. At 2:15 she left the room and said the doctor would be right in. At 2:50 I had to go find someone who said she would get the doctor. He came in a few minutes later. At one appointment my time was 2:40. At 5:05 I had to go find someone. Like I said I really like the doctor. My frustration is with the long waits and at times I feel I am forgotten about.

Dr Wolner is excellent.

I have no clue why so much space was wasted at the front area. You may have to walk a distance from the lot and then when u get in another mile it seems I have copd so I'm really puffing when I get to the appt desk . Why not have some ck ins with their backs to the eye wear area. Just a thought along that area. We are all getting older . Thanks for listening

Dr. Wolner spent time with me and explained everything to me. I have an apptment in 6 months with him again. He is now my go to from now on. I had heard about him and have decided to have him as my new doctors. Had a nice visit with him and was not rushed which I appreciate. Superior experience and the two ladies are very experienced in their jobs. Dont loose them or Dr. Wolner..

Dr. Wollner was very thorough and very knowledgeable and very kind. And also the girl that helped me pick out my glasses was very patient. She let me look by myself for a while, but she was there to offer any advice or to ask questions. And I was done in a hurry because I could look by myself. And she was there if I needed her. So that was really good this time. So thank you very much.

The "check-in" ask comes way too early.

I walked out of the initial appointment. Spent fifty minutes in room and provider didn't come in. He called me later and saw me later in the day

I had an appointment at 1:40. Met with the technician from 1:40 to 2:00. She dilated my eyes and the doctor did not see me until 2:50. This is not the first time that I have had to wait close to an hour to see the doctor. I would not recommend Gunderson Eye Clinic because this is disrespectful to the patient.

I felt bad because I forgot to check out. Did not even think about it until I got home.

I was pleased to be seen so soon. The technician I first saw was thorough and recorded the information. Dr. Wolner was also very thorough and examined my eyelid and explained what it was, chalazion, and the cause. He suggested further treatment and offered follow up if needed and said I could message him with any questions. Good experience.

I think when you have an appointment at a scheduled time, you should be seen within at least a half an hour. My last visit was 55 minutes I waited.

I didn't wait long once I got to the clinic, everyone was very polite and listened to what my concerns where and Dr Wolner answered all my questions thoroughly so I understood everything I was told.

It was too hard to check in online.

My appointment was for 10:40, the Dr did not come into the room until 11:40. I thought they had forgot about me. I wish someone would have let me know he was running late.

I find the my chart check in annoying every time you have an appointment with the clinic, prefer to check in at front desk and talk to a real person.

Dr.Wolner always takes the time needed to explain my exam, my diagnosis, and my treatment options in a way that I can understand.

It says a lot when I'm willing to drive 150 miles for my appointment.

Outstanding service with a 'try to please' attitude. From start to finish I felt very welcomed and there was no objection to not making my co-pay upfront. That was a wonderful benefit for someone who has to budget bills on fixed social security. It makes me feel that Gunderson is more concerned for my health than any corporate pocketbook. Thank you.

The eye doctor provided a comprehensive exam and took time to discuss his findings and treatment options in a kind, clear and respectful manner. He took time to get to know me and was professional yet personable. All the staff (check-in, rooming) were excellent. This has been my best experience in eye care so far.

The Winona facility is bright, clean, well designed and convenient to reach. Each of the Gunderson staff that I encountered was proficient, personable, and welcoming.
