I came to the appointment feeling anxious about what I needed. I left feeling like I had been listened to and knowing that we had a plan of actions to take.

I found the technician and doctor to be very caring, thorough and pleasant to be with.

Although we are in a digital world and I am fairly comfortable with computers, I still get tired of having to use them just for a Dr. appointment.

The only thing that I had trouble with was I send 2 messages last week to request appt but didn't get response so I called for the appt. When I mentioned this, Dr Wolner's nurse could find no evidence that either was received so I'm not sure what happened to those 2 messages.

i had a 10:30 appointment and had one test done fast then sat in room for hour waiting for dr to come in we didn't get out till 12 noon for appointment that should have been done much faster.. no one told us why he was so far behind but rediculus to have to sit in room waiting so long being told nothing..

Dr. Wolner is a doctor that we trust with our eye care and have done so for years. The only reason we had to go elsewhere was because of insurance and now that our insurance has changed, we couldn't run back to him fast enough. He's an asset to your Gundersen Health or Amplify and we highly, highly recommend his eye care. Thank you.

I feel because my insurance paid $300 for a pair of glasses it was not necessary to charge me an additional $326.!

The Dr definitely knew what he was talking about.

The person that checked me in was very rude, initially told to to have a seat because she didn't have time for me. After my appointment I went to go look at glasses and she refused to look at my current frames and straighten them. I chose to take my prescription and order online. The ophthalmologist is fantastic if he did have such a rude team he would glow like he should!!

We came in for an exam, and we had ti wait until the next day to pick out glasses, which im glad we did wait because apparently our insurance wouldn't cover her glasses. I was told over the phone you excepted state insurance. After the exam we just left they didn't tell us to go to front desk and get paper work. We were told nothing, until the next day when we showed up to pick out glasses and was told they didn't except the insurance for glasses.

No perfect score given because no one is perfect

My complaint isn't at all about my provider. My complaint is that Gundersen does not accept Blue Cross Blue Shield for anything anymore. So I'm going to have to pay out of pocket and I might have to switch providers because of it. That's all.

Way too much appointment follow up. Phone calls, text, email. I get it, you want to make sure someone shows up for an appointment but follow up was too much.

I was disappointed in the wait time. My appointment time was 8:20 and the provider didn't come into the room until 9:20. The wait is consistently an issue at this clinic.

I waited in the room for over 30 minutes on both visits. When an appointment is set, I understand some kind of leeway, but both times in is completely unacceptable when I can hear the doctor just shooting the breeze in the next room. He's paid to be there, I'm not. I was on time for both appointments. I stood up to walk out, when he finally opened the door.

y appointment was at11a.m. and he was late coming in 11:45 would have been nice if someone would have come in and said he was running late. There was a lot on talking I could hear and giggling going on

I love going to Gundersen for my optical needs. Dr. Wolner and the whole staff are really great. The folks helping size and order the glasses are terrific, too.

The doctor is great. My problem with the eye clinic is long waits. My appointment was for 1:30. I waited 15 minutes for the tech to come in. She was fine. At 2:15 she left the room and said the doctor would be right in. At 2:50 I had to go find someone who said she would get the doctor. He came in a few minutes later. At one appointment my time was 2:40. At 5:05 I had to go find someone. Like I said I really like the doctor. My frustration is with the long waits and at times I feel I am forgotten about.

I have no clue why so much space was wasted at the front area. You may have to walk a distance from the lot and then when u get in another mile it seems I have copd so I'm really puffing when I get to the appt desk . Why not have some ck ins with their backs to the eye wear area. Just a thought along that area. We are all getting older . Thanks for listening

Dr. Wolner spent time with me and explained everything to me. I have an apptment in 6 months with him again. He is now my go to from now on. I had heard about him and have decided to have him as my new doctors. Had a nice visit with him and was not rushed which I appreciate. Superior experience and the two ladies are very experienced in their jobs. Dont loose them or Dr. Wolner..

She let me look by myself for a while, but she was there to offer any advice or to ask questions. And I was done in a hurry because I could look by myself. And she was there if I needed her. So that was really good this time. So thank you very much.

I think I covered it.

I had an appointment at 1:40. Met with the technician from 1:40 to 2:00. She dilated my eyes and the doctor did not see me until 2:50. This is not the first time that I have had to wait close to an hour to see the doctor. I would not recommend Gunderson Eye Clinic because this is disrespectful to the patient.

I felt bad because I forgot to check out. Did not even think about it until I got home.
