This is my 2nd Derm MD. I do not have the "warm and fuzzy" feeling with this one as I did with the 1st Derm MD. I also would have to say the Derm MD ranks 3rd in the warm and fuzzy feeling category behind my Endocrinologist and Primary Care Provider.

Two days before the appointment I received a phone call that was supposed to be a reminder of my up coming visit. Instead when I answered the phone the call the call dropped. I had four appointments in the last two weeks and all 4 reminder calls dropped.

I had a very good experience. I really like Dr. FARRELL. It just takes too long to get in to see a dermatologist.

Check in person was not very welcoming or friendly.

Dr Farrell and her team are very efficient, kind, and most willing to answer questions. I really appreciate their expertise and quality of health care. Thank you.

Dr. Farrell is very attentive to my needs and is excellent in her profession.

I never saw the provider wash her hands when she came into the room or after examine my body.

I noticed the curtain in the room was not fully intact. It would be nice to ensure exam rooms had privacy measures fully intact.

Dr. Farrell is very thorough and has taken very good care of me and my skin issues.

I was told to get an appointment for next year 12 months. However the best was over 15 months. Unacceptable!

Dr. Farrell is quick and efficient, but still thorough in her treatment and examination skills.

follow-up visits are more than 1 year out

The survey doesn't really ask the questions of any significance. They are not pertinent to what service I am receiving.

I felt like I was very much "assembly-line treated". Not treated as a person who got advise, care and consideration. Any questions, comments or concerns that I had were glossed over and I have had skin cancer in the past.

I've had nothing but positive experiences at Gunderson Clinic in Onalaska. Everyone has always been so helpful, knowledgeable and attentive.

Can't get an appt within 12 months. My next "annual " appt is 15 months out.

I wish were doctors were as caring as her. It does take over a year to get a return appointment for a yearly check up

Very concerning that I couldn't get an appointment for my annual exam next year as I was told my Doctor was fully booked one year out. I was told I would get a call in approximately one month to hopefully schedule a exam.

This visit was so fast, Provider was in & out so quickly I hardly had an opportunity to ask a question. 5 min or less early seems like an appointment.

The provider, listened, gave clear information, seemed empathic to my concerns. She was GREAT!

Another very positive experience with April and her team. I have the highest confidence in her care and support. She is a tremendous asset to the Gunderson Health System.

You need to hire more dermatologists,

She is a wonderful doctor who takes her time with you and makes sure she doesn't miss anything. I appreciate how she explains everything and I have complete trust in her for my dermatology needs. Her nurse is always wonderful as well and does a great job making sure I'm ok when they have to do any shots to numb anything.

To reschedule appointment I would have to go out over a year.....please get more dermatologists! Even booking a follow up yearly appointment goes over 14 months

The check-in process was unacceptable. I arrived 4 or 5 minutes after the check-in time because the parking lot was completely full so I had to park far away and I cannot walk fast. The receptionist told me since I was late, they might not be able to see me. She picked up the phone and dialed an extension. It rang and rang and rang; nobody answered, so she dialed a different extension and the same thing happened. So then she dialed a third extension and nobody answered again. The whole time she was on the phone she sat there twirling her hair and running her fingers through her hair, which is totally unprofessional. If she would have stayed off the phone and just checked me in right away, everything would have gone the way it was supposed to. And then when I checked out, the same girl checked me out and she was still playing with her hair. That looks SO unprofessional!

All went very well. No problems.

I am so grateful that I had this annual exam. Dr. Farrell was very thorough. She discovered two issues that required surgical pathology exams. Those procedures were done so efficiently that I didn't even know when they were done.

Gundersen-Emplify has made the waiting area experience most irritating with the cheap, sleazy sound environment that now pervades the building. One has the impression that they have entered a bar or casino rather than a professional health facility.

Dr Farrell has always listened to my concerns and I am warmly treated. I feel very comfortable having her treat my skin. She is the best!

No concerns about the visit, everyone was great. What is frustrating however that somehow the billing department is not in sync with the transactions created at the department. I got an e mailed estimate for my next visit today: $ 400 The cost of the treatment is $ 350, I already paid $ 250 yesterday, now only owe $ 100 when I return

The new digital online questionnaire for Empathy Systems is too invasive for personal information. Overboard and hard to navigate for senior patients like myself and my husband It is very impersonal we like talking to nurses and physicians in person that's what the definition of empathy is ! We love our doctors and nurses but the business model has changed their ability to engage in good bedside manner...

I really think April Farrell is a wonderful doctor and very informative. I do not like My Chart since you have to put in a code number to get into it. It takes forever for that code to appear in my e-mail.

I do like Dr. Farrell. I only wish she was available more often in the Winona MN clinic

I needed another separate appointment that I couldn't get for 7 months and both Dr. Farrell and her nurse listened and did what they could to assist me...at least answered important questions. My care and treatment were professional.

Several areas of concern were discovered during my appointment. I was told to treat these areas twice daily. While the areas of concern were printed out it would have been helpful for me to have a drawing actually showing where all the spots were.

I had other questions, but after exam she left and didn't ask me if I had additional questions.

Dr. Farrell is a wonderful, caring and professional physician. Glad I got established with her. I truly trust her with my healthcare needs.

Dr. Farrell is by far the best of the four dermatologists I've seen, probably as good as two of them combined, so I'm lucky to have her. Thank you.

My Chart in transition has on some days been unavailable, on others it has locked me out. Not a good experience. Currently it doesn't remember my username or password, so not happy with it.

It's difficult to wait weeks for an appointment while watching a suspicious skin lesion grow.

Dr seemed on a time crunch. Sort of in and out. She did what she was suppose to do but it was such a quick "bing bang, thank you, and out the door"..
