Dr. Farrell is an excellent doctor. She has great bedside manner. You feel confident with her. Trust everything she recommends. Has a way of making you feel relaxed when I am stressed. Special doctor.

I am very happy with the care from Dr. Farrell. She is thorough and makes sure if I have any cancer cells that she biopsies them right away.

All staff is super! Dr. Farrell is like an artist the way she can perfect the collegen injections! I am very pleased with her work.

Checking in and out was amazing! I chatted with staff for a minute and everyone of them was great. They were warm, helpful, and so fun! The nurse who brought me to the room and started the appointment was also incredible. She was kind and really listened to me. Dr. Farrell was clear, direct, and listed my options (pros and cons of each) and gave me the confidence in my choice. I have never had such a wonderful experience from start to finish in any medical setting. How lucky everyone is to be able to visit Dermatology at your clinic and leave knowing they were given great service by everyone involved! Made me seriously think I should consider changing from Viroqua to Onalaska!

The only problem I encounter is that I have had a history of some skin cancer and was always monitored every 6 months and now the time lapse is close to 18 months for next checkup !!

The staff in Dermatology have always treated me with respect and put me at ease each appointment.

Great doctor and great visit

History of multiple skin cancers and having to wait 16 months for an appointment is stressful. My former doctor insisted on every 6 month follow ups.

Dr. Farrell is always professional, personable, and a master of her craft. I am grateful to have her as my dermatologist, and completely trust her expertise!

I think she's a great provider, one of the best dermatologists that I've been to as far as really being thorough and explaining what she's doing. So yes, I think she's just great. You're lucky to have her at Gundersen. Amplify.

Scary visit but, expected because, most the time I receive bad news when going to a Dr. Really would like to feel more comfortable, more confident, not so scared and get some good news.

Dr. Farrell was very helpful and professional and answered all my questions.

The fact that we are supposed to check-in on line days before we actually are to show up physically at the appointment always puzzles me. Isn't "checking in" by definition letting the front desk know we are physically present?

I always feel comfortable with Dr. Farrell and her nurse assistants. Receptionists are great.

The check in desk was not staffed when I arrive at the designated time. My provider's MA went to look for someone immediately and all of us who were waiting in line were not late for our appointments.

Dr Farrell was great at getting me in quickly when she thought I may have a cancerous lip. Fortunately not. Dr Farrell has been great at working with me to establish ongoing therapy, which includes UV lights, that has arrested my dermatitis and its symptoms most effectively.

I trust all my providers at Gundersen Health.

I feel at times that the amount of digital interaction with pre check ins, check in and then in the building check in is a bit "over the top", borderline annoying. The interesting thing is that there appears to not be interface between departments/specialties. I could check in on line and then when at the building go through the same questions either at the check in desk or even in the doctor appointment room with the nurse.

All good so far.

My Appointment was on time and handled in a most efficient manor. In and out in 30 minutes!

I use my chart to check in and i find it unnecessary for the same questions to be asked at check in

Appointment went well. Have always been happy with how I am treated. I am old school and prefer vocal or paper rather than digital but can navigate it with help.

Previously had skin cancer and had to go to another medical provider not Emplify to obtain appointment based on a two year wait time. Now I am to see provider yearly but when I went to schedule appointment for next year had to schedule out 16 months. Thank you .

I have always had positive experiences with this provider but it seemed she rushed thru the yearly exam and was more intent on speaking to intern than me. She seemed in a hurry although she took care of the spots I was concerned about. It seems that the medical staff are on a strict.."slam bang, thank you mam, and I'm out of here "!! Conversations between Dr and patient seems fast and routine.

The doctor's nurse was not very friendly..had short "snappy" answers to questions I tried to ask. However, the doctor & intern were good.

My appointment was on time and the staff was attentive to my needs. Thumbs up to all.

It is a challenge to schedule appointments every 6 months as Dr Farrell's schedule is almost full by that time. Being rechecked every 6 months has resulted in getting precancerous lesions treated before needing biopsies and surgery, so very thankful for that.

The only negative I can offer has to do with completing pre check in questions on MyChart and then finding out the Medicare questions needed at every visit don't transfer through. Some computer glitch still occurs and has nothing to do with the efficient friendly staff at onalaska.

This is my 2nd Derm MD. I do not have the "warm and fuzzy" feeling with this one as I did with the 1st Derm MD. I also would have to say the Derm MD ranks 3rd in the warm and fuzzy feeling category behind my Endocrinologist and Primary Care Provider.

Two days before the appointment I received a phone call that was supposed to be a reminder of my up coming visit. Instead when I answered the phone the call the call dropped. I had four appointments in the last two weeks and all 4 reminder calls dropped.

I had a very good experience. I really like Dr. FARRELL. It just takes too long to get in to see a dermatologist.

Check in person was not very welcoming or friendly.

I noticed the curtain in the room was not fully intact. It would be nice to ensure exam rooms had privacy measures fully intact.

The survey doesn't really ask the questions of any significance. They are not pertinent to what service I am receiving.

I felt like I was very much "assembly-line treated". Not treated as a person who got advise, care and consideration. Any questions, comments or concerns that I had were glossed over and I have had skin cancer in the past.

I've had nothing but positive experiences at Gunderson Clinic in Onalaska. Everyone has always been so helpful, knowledgeable and attentive.

Can't get an appt within 12 months. My next "annual " appt is 15 months out.

I wish were doctors were as caring as her. It does take over a year to get a return appointment for a yearly check up

Very concerning that I couldn't get an appointment for my annual exam next year as I was told my Doctor was fully booked one year out. I was told I would get a call in approximately one month to hopefully schedule a exam.

This visit was so fast, Provider was in & out so quickly I hardly had an opportunity to ask a question. 5 min or less early seems like an appointment.

The provider, listened, gave clear information, seemed empathic to my concerns. She was GREAT!

Another very positive experience with April and her team. I have the highest confidence in her care and support. She is a tremendous asset to the Gunderson Health System.

She is a wonderful doctor who takes her time with you and makes sure she doesn't miss anything. I appreciate how she explains everything and I have complete trust in her for my dermatology needs. Her nurse is always wonderful as well and does a great job making sure I'm ok when they have to do any shots to numb anything.

The check-in process was unacceptable. I arrived 4 or 5 minutes after the check-in time because the parking lot was completely full so I had to park far away and I cannot walk fast. The receptionist told me since I was late, they might not be able to see me. She picked up the phone and dialed an extension. It rang and rang and rang; nobody answered, so she dialed a different extension and the same thing happened. So then she dialed a third extension and nobody answered again. The whole time she was on the phone she sat there twirling her hair and running her fingers through her hair, which is totally unprofessional. If she would have stayed off the phone and just checked me in right away, everything would have gone the way it was supposed to. And then when I checked out, the same girl checked me out and she was still playing with her hair. That looks SO unprofessional!

All went very well. No problems.

Gundersen-Emplify has made the waiting area experience most irritating with the cheap, sleazy sound environment that now pervades the building. One has the impression that they have entered a bar or casino rather than a professional health facility.

Dr Farrell has always listened to my concerns and I am warmly treated. I feel very comfortable having her treat my skin. She is the best!

No concerns about the visit, everyone was great. What is frustrating however that somehow the billing department is not in sync with the transactions created at the department. I got an e mailed estimate for my next visit today: $ 400 The cost of the treatment is $ 350, I already paid $ 250 yesterday, now only owe $ 100 when I return
