They were running a half hour late.

Anthony is a good listener and I am particularly grateful for his responses via MyChart when my medication needed adjusting. I had to be rescheduled because of his illness and the wait was rather long, but his willingness to change meds prior to the appointment made all the difference.

Tony was AWESOME!

Staff always creates a great comfort zone for the patient.

All were professional and personable.

I liked his calm soft voice.

Everyone I had contact with was outstanding! Dr Tony Sanchez was excellent and I would go to him any time!

My experience at Gundersen is always good and I believe I am getting the best of care. I do feel that providers seem to be under pressure to process my visit rapidly. I have even noticed two different times that a provider was checking their watch as they worked with me.

PA Anthony Sanchez made us feel comfortable and explained to my husband how the surgeon was able to repair his heart. Thank you for easing the concern Steve was experiencing. He felt better after this exam.

Everyone with Gundersen has been wonderful. PA Tony was very caring and a laid-back personality. Very easy to talk to.

Checkout was awful only one person and five of us waiting to checkout

Upon arrival there was no one attending the Cardio check in station and no sign indicating why. I waited 7 minutes and then moved to the Cardio check out line which had one station open and 6 people waiting. As I got to the front of that line to ask to use it for check in, which I then did, staff returned to the check in desk, two staff members. Thus, the check in desk was unattended for 10-12 minutes. This has never happened before in my experience at Gundersen and I was very disappointed to say the very least. Overall, it thus ended up taking 15 minutes to check in from arrival to completing the check in with the staff member at the check out station. I find this unacceptable, a sign posted that the check in station was closed and directing to the check out station was needed.

Tony Sanchez is a great asset to the department, I don't know how we never crossed paths in the years of my appointments there. He has the ability to clearly share critical information in a very understandable way, and makes sure that comprehension has been achieved. I will seek out his expertise in the future.

I thought that PA Sanchez was excellent. He gave very good explanations that were understandable about my condition and what my options were. And you've got a super excellent good employee there and you better keep him and try to get more like him.

Anthony Sanchez was a good listener and seemed knowledgeable, providing important information. The only thing that bothered me is the siloed structure of the system. I had a variety of questions, but he could only provide information on his specialty. Perhaps I need to consult with general cardiology. I asked about finding the cause of my problem and the first answer was my age, which should never be used as an answer unless other options are explored. He ordered a sleep study (I have yet to hear from them) which could be one cause. But nobody has ordered a comprehensive blood test to examine other causes including hormonal or other possible chemical imbalances. When I asked about it, he said his expertise is in treating the electric aspect of my irregular heartbeat. Understandable, I guess, but do all potential causes not fall under this expertise? So for now, it seems we are treating symptoms without fully understanding potential causes which may be able to be corrected; and doing so with 2 medications from 2 different PAs who may or may not be coordinating. It has occurred to me that the first time I had this problem was after a hysterectomy, so hormones may have contributed. It was treated then with anti-anxiety meds, which worked very well. I never got a definitive answer then, either, though the problem disappeared over time and remained under the radar for 30 years before rearing up again. Now it has returned badly enough that it requires treatment. I just want to be sure my cardiology caretakers communicate since their 2 different medications work together and are able to rule out causes other than age. So happy Sanchez ordered the sleep study and is seeing me again in 3 months. Monitoring is comforting.

This has been a stressful journey and Tony made me so comfortable. I felt I could ask any question I needed too and he made sure I understood what he was explaining. He has been the nicest person I've ever worked with at Emplify.

The Gunderson Lutheran facility in Lacrosse has the most confusing and inadequate signage I have ever seen in a public space.

Everyone in Cardiology was very pleasant and respectful. Tony took the time to explain everything to me very well and went through my heart monitor data in detail with me. I couldn't have asked for a more positive experience. Thank you to Tony, the nurse, and the receptionists who checked me in and out!
