Whenever I go to my dermatology appointment, I notice that there is a makeup shop on the same floor, but I don't really know what it's there for. No one in the dermatology practice ever mentions it, and it doesn't seem like anyone is ever in there. I think they must sell products. Is that what it's there for? I went in once, looked at the products and asked the clerk about it. She said they sold the products, but she didn't tell me anything about them. Can someone tell me what this department does and when I might need to go in there?

The only problem I saw was that after my appointment it wasn't clear to me which line was for check-in and check-out. I wasn't sure where to go, but with the encouragement of my husband, went straight to the representative. Then someone said I had cut in front of them.

It seems you need more dermatologists so an annual skin check can remain annual, rather than booking 1 1/2 years out.

Unfortunately the delay to get an appointment was a disappointment but at the actual appointment the entry process was fine and my interaction with the staff was excellent.

This Dr. was one of the most thorough doctors I've seen. I really liked her and her nurse.

All went well. I just needed a skin checkup so the appt. was 14 months in the future. I have my general doc. check me when I am with her. If there was a problem she said I could have made one sooner. They did change the time without notice. If I would not have looked at mycare I would have missed the appt. I was told a reg. mail was sent to me. Did not receive. Other Gundersen offices do not work this way. I get emails and text messages from all of the other offices. 2 others have also had this problem and not received reg. mail notices.

We were treated very well there. Everybody was very polite and kind. Thank you.

Was very professional visit

Everything was great. My one complaint is that it was so cold in the building that I took an earlier bus which meant I was on the same bus for an hour longer because I could no longer stand sitting in the lobby. I was dressed in slacks and a t-shirt, but will definitely start carrying a sweater with me when I go to the LaCrosse and Onalaska clinics. I sat outside in the smokey, hot air for ten minutes waiting for an earlier bus so I could get away from the cold air. I almost asked for a blanket when I was waiting for my exam--that's how cold it was.

Long access times for appointment to dermatology but that wasnt on thr care team. They were all wonderful!

Anna was very thorough and explained what she was seeing very well. She was also compassionate and understanding. Very nice experience, going to see her at Dermatology.

Very friendly and professional. Booking timely appointments for this department are a bit of a struggle but the doctor and staff care was very good.

Everything went well, but I had to wait a year to get in. Thankfully I wasn't in a rush to get in and the dermo said I don't need to come back unless something come up. In the future they weren't going to take appointments unless you are referred by your PCP. She did say they were trying to hire more dermos.

As an older adult, it is sometimes hard to navigate.

I question the reasons why this organization cannot keep a sufficient number of dermatologists. The current providers are under too much pressure and constraints to provide complete and satisfactory care to so many patients.

I question the new Emplify Character as my visit was more about what I could pay for rather than what was best for me. If I could pay up front for the procedure it would be done but if not it would be passed over.

Might need to boost your wi-fi. When I try to arrive, I get the spinning circle and always have to present to the desk.

The previsit questionnaire is excessive and takes too long. What relevance is religious affiliation? It's not acceptable the difficulty in trying to schedule a future appointment.

Anna is a very kind, smart PA who did a thorough exam. She offered three options for treament. The one I chose requires a pre auth from my insurance. The yearly follow up was scheduled 14 months out, which I was not happy with. Currently waiting to see if pre auth is completed so I can come back for the "blue" light treatment.

All staff were wonderful. From Checkin staff to the Nurse and Provider. Thank you.

I appreciated my provider's expertise. She also told me the choices I could make for my mole and we discussed them together. I am very satisfied.

The PA needs to listen more carefully like the nurse did. I have not had a good experience with dermatology for many years and the quality of care seems to keep going downhill.

It is apparent that Dermatology is very short with providers. When trying to schedule my 1 year recheck we had to go out into 2027. To be honest I was nervous seeing a PA instead of an actual Dermatologist but Anna was very thorough & very efficient & put my mind at ease. I appreciated her help.

On line check in process is long. In person check in and check out people were pleasant, but the process seems like it takes a long time....

This was a referral from my family medicine doctor, the primary doctor froze a concerning area on my skin. They got me in very fast with a cancellation but the specialist prefers to wait 3-4 weeks to see the results of the cryo so rescheduled another exam. Possibly opportunity for improved communication between providers so appointment time isnt wasted. Otherwise it was a good visit.

Anna was excellent. Called me by name, explained in detail, checked to see if I had questions. What is extremely frustrating is getting a Derm appointment especially when I'm a constant skin cancer patient!!
