Dr. Darveaux is great. She's knowledgeable, profession, empathetic. Some of the staff seemed confused about the reason for my visit. They seemed to think I had made my appointment way to early for my annual exam. This was a follow up visit as recommended for my condition.

Great doctor! Very thorough! She was helpful in making referral for eye surgery. I recommended her for mu husband too.

Dr Darveaux was very personable, friendly and knowledgeable. I didn't have to wait long to be seen and she was very informative.

Dr. Darveaux is excellent in all regards. She's very thorough, very knowledgeable, and very proactive. She answers all my questions. She's an excellent health provider. I trust her wholeheartedly with my health care. She doesn't leave any stone unturned. She is always very proactive and does an excellent job. I highly trust her with my health care, and Gundersen Health is very fortunate to have her on staff as an excellent provider.

I've had to upload my insurance in My Chart twice and it would take it. My appointment started almost an hour late but I was never given an update by anyone. I took the time to select frames via the online tool, sent them to the office but nothing was pulled for me. It was a waste of time. The doctor and her tech were great but overall I wouldn't recommend the Onalaska eye clinic

From check-in to check-out, everyone was helpful and friendly. Excellent experience.

when i arrived 5-10 minutes late due to traffic and weather, the gal at the desk made me feel ashamed and not welcome. She needs an attitude adjustment. Thanks for letting me share this.

Once I was checked in, it took a very long time to be called back. I could tell that 'assistant' and Angela were aware of the delay in time, so they speed things up. Being a breastfeeding mom, it is good to know what I can and cannot do as far as medications. You don't typically think about eye drops as being something that is off limits.

I've been really happy with Dr Darveaux. I want to mention the check in person I had whose name I think is Emily . She checked me in and also checked me out. She has a bubbly and helpful personality. She treated me as if we were old friends. She's definitely representing Empify well!!

Dr. Darveaux was efficient, knowledgeable and helpful, and I was impressed that she had obviously read and/or remembered me from prior visits. One thing that concerned me--and I noticed this in other Gundersen offices too--is that very few staff wear face masks or gloves. I had asked that Dr. Darveaux wear a mask, which she did, but I assumed that she would wear gloves too. She did not, even though the exam required that she touch both of my eyes. I'd like to know if this is standard for all providers. However, overall my experience was a good one. Your response, please.

I checked in online, and when I arrived for my appointment, everything was all set. I had a very short wait time, and everyone was very pleasant. She is great, and I have total trust in her concerning my eyes.

Optometry did a very good job. Overall we are seriously looking into moving from Gundersen to Mayo Health System. Gundersen has made too many mergers and it's too difficult to see a doctor. You are becoming a system of PAs and Nurse Practitioners.

Dr. Darveaux is the best! She takes the time to listen to any concerns and questions I might have and addresses them in a way that I can understand. She doesn't sugar coat information, but she isn't rude. Beyond that, she really promotes maintaining eye health and always makes sure I know what to do/who to call if my symptoms require follow up or being seen urgently. She is kind and caring and I recommend her to everyone I know looking for eye care!

Things were well explained and I needed a referral with an appointment made before I left that day. My provider took time and didn't end the visit until questions were answered. Very thorough and direct; so appreciated. The eye tech was excellent as well. She was very personable as she did her work. No one was "going through the motions" and as an employee I'm well aware it was go live day for Epic changes. Everyone had a good attitude and did what they needed to do.

They all made sure we were comfortable during our visit. It was a long appointment and we were impressed how everyone was so thoughtful.

I did not have an appointment, but they advertise that they accommodate walk-ins for urgent care. I was roomed very quickly after arrival, but then waited in exam room for well over an hour and a half. I realize this is not the provider's fault but a staffing issue that should be addressed.....very frustrating.

I trust Dr. Angela Darveaux with my care and I appreciate that she answers, she listens carefully to my questions and concerns and she responds in a way that I understand and I appreciate her help and time and she does a great job and God bless Dr. Darveaux and everyone there. Thank you.

The technician that roomed me did not introduce herself. This is often happens with nurses in other depts I had visited. The doctors always do. It would be nice since the technician/nurse knows my name.
