Dr. Darveaux was great! In fact, her team was busy prepping other patients so she called me in early and did all components of my exam without the assistance of he technicians.

It was good.

I had a very thorough appointment and get very good care from Dr. Darveaux. All my questions were answered and any issues thoroughly addressed. My appointment ended up taking longer and no one was rushed or impatient and I'm certain the appointment slots were booked that day.

She is a very good provider - checks everything and listens to any concerns I might have.

After my regular eye doctor of over 20 years I chose Dr. Darveaux as my new eye doctor after hearing good things from a friend. She did not disappoint. She is thorough, clear, and smart. I chose well.

I did need to wait in the exam room for quite some time before seeing the eye doctor. Perhaps they booked too many patients within a certain amount of time. The doctor did apologize for the delay.

Dr. Darveaux is really an excellent doctor. She made a complex assessment clear and I understood how to care for my issue. She also discovered another issue (possible basal cell) on my lower eyelid. I was immediately referred and scheduled by staff to address this with another specialist. Everything was confirmed almost immediately through My Chart, so I knew exactly what my next steps were. I am so very grateful for the depth and breadth of care I receive here.

Dr. Darveaux did a thorough job of working with me to understand what I can do to help with my eye concerns. She has a wonderful way of putting her patient at ease. She is extremely knowledgeable.

The nurse could have explained things just a little bit better on what she was doing say instead of just poking things in my eye tell me first. Her instructions could have been clearer on when my eyes needed to be open & when I could blink or shut my eyes for a break. Even when told I could blink I didn't realize to just blink like normal cause it was a blinking test I was still trying to have my eyes open. The test was literally torture I didn't really know what we were doing & the chairs were extremely uncomfortable too. I am flaring in my chronic pain big time from this appointment even over 24hrs later.

Dr. Darveaux is great. She's knowledgeable, profession, empathetic. Some of the staff seemed confused about the reason for my visit. They seemed to think I had made my appointment way to early for my annual exam. This was a follow up visit as recommended for my condition.

Excellent Care & Treatment

Dr. Darveaux is excellent in all regards. She's very thorough, very knowledgeable, and very proactive. She answers all my questions. She's an excellent health provider. I trust her wholeheartedly with my health care. She doesn't leave any stone unturned. She is always very proactive and does an excellent job. I highly trust her with my health care, and Gundersen Health is very fortunate to have her on staff as an excellent provider.

I've had to upload my insurance in My Chart twice and it would take it. My appointment started almost an hour late but I was never given an update by anyone. I took the time to select frames via the online tool, sent them to the office but nothing was pulled for me. It was a waste of time. The doctor and her tech were great but overall I wouldn't recommend the Onalaska eye clinic

From check-in to check-out, everyone was helpful and friendly. Excellent experience.

when i arrived 5-10 minutes late due to traffic and weather, the gal at the desk made me feel ashamed and not welcome. She needs an attitude adjustment. Thanks for letting me share this.

The doctor was very efficient and I appreciate her attention to detail.

Once I was checked in, it took a very long time to be called back. I could tell that 'assistant' and Angela were aware of the delay in time, so they speed things up. Being a breastfeeding mom, it is good to know what I can and cannot do as far as medications. You don't typically think about eye drops as being something that is off limits.

I've been really happy with Dr Darveaux. I want to mention the check in person I had whose name I think is Emily . She checked me in and also checked me out. She has a bubbly and helpful personality. She treated me as if we were old friends. She's definitely representing Empify well!!

Dr. Darveaux was efficient, knowledgeable and helpful, and I was impressed that she had obviously read and/or remembered me from prior visits. One thing that concerned me--and I noticed this in other Gundersen offices too--is that very few staff wear face masks or gloves. I had asked that Dr. Darveaux wear a mask, which she did, but I assumed that she would wear gloves too. She did not, even though the exam required that she touch both of my eyes. I'd like to know if this is standard for all providers. However, overall my experience was a good one. Your response, please.

I checked in online, and when I arrived for my appointment, everything was all set. I had a very short wait time, and everyone was very pleasant. Dr. D. and the other staff were professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. I recommend Dr. D. to others, but I have to be careful not to make her too busy. She is great, and I have total trust in her concerning my eyes.
