Caring about the visit!

Everyone was very professional and I had a great experience. Everything was and is fine.

Andrea is wonderful. She explains everything very well and I am able to keep tabs on my hearing.

Dr. M is always the best and listens to our concerns and gives good feedback and information to help with anything that we need moving forward.

Andrea was very gentle with putting the headsets on. She is very knowledgeable and answers all questions I asked in a way I could understand. She also gave me ideas to try at home to help reduce the ringing in my ears.

Andrea is not only very professional in her job but she is one of the nicest people I know. Extremely personable and very easy to talk with. Makes clinic visits much less stressful. A true asset to Gundersen Health System.

I don't understand why I didn't receive my test results

You're repeating yourself one through ten, one through ten, it gets a little long. Otherwise, what my experience at the clinic with the doctor was great.

We went for a referral appointment after our newborn failed her hearing screening. The doctor didn't introduce herself or ask our names. She never used our daughter's name when talking to her or about her. She had my husband sit on a chair behind me so that he could not see anything. I had him come with as a support and he wanted to be there out of concern for our daughter. The doctor seemed annoyed that our baby wasn't sound asleep. I understand that it helps get clearer results, but after an hour in the car with a baby who doesn't like her carseat, it took her awhile to calm down. Obviously, hearing loss is a serious topic and none of the results were explained. We were not asked if we had any questions. She only said that we would retest in two weeks and to not do anything different with our baby. Her advice for the next appointment was "this may sound mean, but don't feed her before you come." I will not follow those directions because I cannot drive safely while listening to my baby crying out of hunger for an hour. The whole process seemed rushed and we did not feel care or compassion.

My appointment was beneficial to being confident and comfortable with the care I received. My receiver aid for my right ear will be repaired and cleaned as I didn't shave it with me for my appt. I had my appts confused with my vision appt today. My Dr. Was very helpful in my situation. Thank you for the great care.

We recommend Dr. Andi to anyone who even mentions a hearing problem! She is amazing and we are beyond grateful to have her on our sons care team!

The specialty provider I met with was very professional and knowledgeable yet warm and caring. She understood my chronic condition and provided helpful information. The provider explained the results of my testing in an easy to understand manner and took her time answering my questions and listening to my concerns. The provider also provided me with guidance on who to contact if I have more concerns before my appointment with the ENT provider in one month. Overall it was an excellent experience with this provider.

Keep hiring people that are kind. In 35 years of care with Gundersen (sorry, I loathe "emplilfy") there are only two people - one doctor and one nurse - who were nasty, venal, arrogant, obnoxious people. That's a great ratio, so please keep emphasizing kindness and care with the necessary expertise. We're all so very happy you're in Winona. Yesterday's experience was outstanding. Thank you.
