Andrea Wilson is an asset to Gunderson. Very knowledgeable, succinct in her explanations, and experienced.

Andrea Wilson is a dreamboat of an orthopedic specialist! She attended to my physical issue and was so wonderfully positive about my outcome. I left the appointment feeling a lot better than when I went in, and we didn't really do anything directly theraputic in this visit. I have a long-term understanding of what I must do and will experience in my recovery.

Andrea is the best! Even though we had to wait slightly longer than usual for an appointment it was worth it. We always get a solid diagnosis and treatment plan. It may not be what we want to hear but she is always thinking what is in the long term interest of her patients and their ability to stay active doing what they love.

Andrea was so very kind-she knew i was in extreme pain. I left the clinic feeling like I was going to get my life back. I can't tell you how grateful I am Andrea is taking care of me. How important Andrea is to the Decorah Gundersen clinic. Andrea makes Gundersen the great place it has become. Keep up the great work.

Absolutely exceptional

I was seeing a new provider. I found her to be kind, welcoming and interested in my situation. She pulled up previous x-rays and explained what she saw. I was a bit unhappy when checking in, I was given a questionnaire. It all in MyChart so I felt that it was unnecessary. Sometimes when you go to the Dr. they expect the patient to ask questions but we don't know what to ask. I was given a lot of information about my knee that helped me know more about my arthritis. I was very pleased with this provider and appointment. Thank you!

Andrea Wilson gave me great hints to make this experience with a cast on my arm go a little easier. She told me to raise the arm if I had swelling and explained the pains I may have so I wouldn't worry about anything new. Extremely helpful. Also very clear and thorough in her explanations.

It was way too long of wait in that small office, over 45 minutes

It was my second visit in a row that I had an appointment for 9:45 AM and it was 10:30 am before I saw Andrea. I know she is very thorough with her patients and I respect her for that, I'm just wondering if she has to see too many patients in the day and that causes her to get delayed? She's a great PA and I respect her a lot.

Andrea Wilson is the BEST at injecting knees. I've had the most positive results from her procedure over that of other providers.

Andrea is a family favorite. She has always spoken to us with confidence and care. Stressing the importance and reasons for her restrictions and guidance. My children have always been spoken to in age appropriate ways and they truly understand their injuries . We are so blessed to have her as part of the Decorah Team!

My care provided by dr wilson was superior especially in comparison to care I was provided in another state where my injury occurred.

Andrea was very helpful but she has always done a great job. I was unsure why orthopedic surgeons did not want to operate (they had just left a message, stating I was not a candidate for surgery). She explained that the knee was not quite bad enough yet to be considered for surgery and explained why.

Yeah, I would just like to say that Andrea Wilson was very, very thorough. I couldn't say enough good about her in my checkup that I had there as far as her explaining everything so very thoroughly as far as understanding what I had going on with a knee. And anyway, I'm going to definitely keep her as any orthopedic issues that come up. So I couldn't have been happier with the care and treatment I got there. Thank you.

To be honest I'm not sure how to answer this question. I and PT I've been seeing suspected tendon tear. Provider agreed is likely but recommended no imaging or further action. Since I'm active, still do physical work, it seems counterintuitive to not repair a tendon tear. Seems will increase risk of damage to only remaining tendon attaching that muscle. Then what, can't bend my arm or lift anything???

My provider explained everything in a way I could understand and answered all my questions. She was great.

The health care of this place is about money. I complained about shoulder issues about a year and a half ago. Shoulder injuries are far more expensive than carpel tunnel (not spelled right). That's what explains the complete ignorante of my shoulder and just want to treat me like a T-Rex, by "fixing" my forearm and wrestling while my shoulder wont be able to move above my neck.

Dr Wilson does a great job of listening and caring about her patients.
