Allison was very good and she's preparing me for cataract surgery. So we had a nice chat and she filled me in on everything I need to know so that I can make the decision correctly. Thank you.

She answered any questions I had and made me feel comfortable.

She was kind of rude about not getting the glasses from last year when come to find out it was a prior authorization issue that was still sitting out there and haven't heard anything back and that was a week ago. So maybe she should check into that before she jumps down her patient's throat and when they go to actually get glasses and follow their routine of following doctor's orders of getting glasses to be able to see, they did their due diligence. It's not on them that they didn't do the thing of getting the doctor's orders and getting glasses. It's on the facility for not following through on prior authorizations.

The people at the eye clinic in Prairie du Chien are excellent. They treat you well and answer all questions.

The receptionist was going to charge me for my exam without looking into whether my exam was covered by my insurance, even though I had checked ahead of time that they accepted my insurance. Also, I was told they do not accept my commercial material plan because they are more of a "medical center". They sell contacts and glasses just like every other eye place I've been and it's ridiculous to not accept this, so I will be taking my prescription elsewhere to order materials. I will not be coming back in the future as it was an annoying experience from an insurance standpoint. The care I received during my exam was great though with zero complaints.

The visit was excellent. My only complaint is about the repretitive online check in process.

They should tell you about your insurance the truth before exam I could not get my glasses there anymore

"I had a fantastic experience today! From the moment I walked in, the front desk team was warm and efficient. Dr. ALLISON M BURBACH is so knowledgeable, attentive, and took the time to explain every test in detail, making sure I felt comfortable and heard. The eye exam was incredibly thorough, focusing on both my vision needs and overall eye health. I never felt rushed. Also the medical assistant was absolutely wonderful! She was incredibly patient and kind while walking me through the initial diagnostic tests and imaging. She explained exactly what each machine did, which really helped put my nerves at ease. Not only were they professional and efficient, but they also had a great attitude that made the start of my appointment seamless and stress-free. It's clear they truly care about the patients here!"

A comment I would make would be I've got about eight text messages about the appointment in the two days prior to the appointment and I don't do text messages. So they can kind of cut back on those. Thank you.

I appreciate coming to Dr. Burbach. She is very thorough and very pleasant. I trust her with my vision care very much.

I had to wait 15-20 minutes waiting for the Dr. to see me. I had to leave and re-schedule another visit.

Was not sent a reminder to make yearly appointment. Called in as I knew it was about the time for my annual exam. Received letter to make an appointment a week after I called in. Cancellation list is very poor. I received about 10 emails telling me an earlier appointment was available. Whenever I logged on the appointment was gone..even if I caught the email within 30 minutes of receiving.

Needed a pair of glasses readjusted She spent a lot of time working with me adjusting She did a great job. Plus every one was so friendly Such an enjoyable appointment

Allison was great and personable. I felt she was competent at her job. The assistant that worked with my daughter initially was also great!

I checked in on my phone when I got there, & I didn't realize that I also had to check in at the desk, which doesn't make sense to me. Perhaps there could be some sign to explain that I also need to check in at the desk. I sat there for 10 minutes wherein I then went to the desk, & I'm wondering that if I hadn't, would I have lost my appointment tome?? Everything else was Excellent!!

Dr. Burbach and her assistant are the best! Very knowledgeable and do an excellent job of listening to my concerns. The lady that helped me pick out my glasses is also very knowledgeable and helpful in finding the best glasses for me.

There is always a long wait to check-in. Then the check-in person seems to have to go through many steps before completing the process. This has historically been the case.

I don't really like your computerized check in process it's to lengthy/clunky

I understand that you are trying to take "people" out of the check in process, but I was less than happy that you start asking for this information so far in advance, and that you actually ask for the payment at that point too. Asking for money when you are not 100% sure that I will even make it to the appointment and that the amount might change because of what the optometrist needs to do seems like you are putting the cart before the horse. I was really turned offed by that! My first thought was, can't they just let me pay when I am done? When I got there I thought I would basicly just walk in and go right back because I had done everything online. But...they have paperwork that needs to be gone over and signed that needs to go back with you to the appointment. All of the PEOPLE I dealt with were super nice, and my experience there was fine. My online experience was the only turn-off!!!

I had to wait more than was reasonable at each step - reception, vision waiting area, exam room, eye glass center.

They were very super. Everybody was concerned. Everybody knew what they were doing and talking about. I was very impressed. Thank you much.

Allison is a ray of sunshine (and I wish she was my friend). The gentleman that did my pre-tests is probably one of the friendliest person I've ever met. And the receptionists were also very helpful and full of smiles. Seems like a fun place to work. Great team!
