Care Philosophy
I view the patient-provider relationship as one of the most meaningful connections in medicine, and I feel privileged to be a part of it. This relationship should be grounded in mutual trust, respect and loyalty. My approach centers on compassionate, evidence-based care tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
I chose Gundersen for its dedication to excellence in patient care and its commitment to fostering professional growth. I value a multidimensional approach to medicine—one that places patient care at the forefront while also prioritizing education and research to advance treatment options for patients with rheumatologic conditions.
Personal Statement
I am a nature enthusiast who enjoys exploring trails and spending time outdoors with my family.

MyChart if you don't use it often it won't let you in. I think you should be able to accesses it anytime you need it. Not when it lets you. Because now I have to reset my password and that doesn't set well with me. I already have a notebook full of passwords and I don't like it if I have to keep changing it . I'm getting old and sometimes my memory is not good

Dr Kiani is a very respectable doctor and very empathetic to my care. I truly appreciate Gundersen as a whole for really pursuing the best care a patient could have. I'm grateful for my doctors and the staff for being so kind.

Dr. Kiani is the best rheumatologist I have ever seen. I've had RA for 55 years and I trust him completely!

The doctor needs to listen to the patient and actually go through their medical chart instead of making assumptions and then making sure that the patient understands everything that he's saying before they leave. Thank you.

Please keep this doctor, he is so much better than the last one I saw. The last one I would not recommend to anyone.

Dr. Kiani was WONDERFUL! He took his time getting know what was going on with my symptoms and pain. He explained things thoroughly and was very professional in his care for my well-being. He is one of the most-thorough physicians I've ever had.

Provider was not helpful at all. Basically told me there was nothing he could do to help me. I have been doctoring for RA for almost 30 yrs and my normal dr retired. She could help me. He didn't even try.

Too bad this dept. is struggling with providers. I believe this doc is a locum which is fine but hard to establish a relationship with over time.
