Had to wait a long time (in gown only) in the exam room before Dr came in. Would have appreciated someone popping in to say they are running late instead of just letting me wait.

I was very happy with my visit my doctor and nurse were both very helpful. They addressed all my concerns and put my worries to rest. I trust them with my care for sure.

I don't like my chart. Everything else is great.

Yes, my appointment was very acceptable and I thought the doctor did a good examination. However, I was very disappointed when I checked out to find out that according to the doctor he wanted to see me in one year and when I was checking out I was unable to schedule an appointment next year. And this was very disappointing and disgusting and I'm very upset about it. So thank you so much.

Dr Yao did a great job as always the pain from the blister was gone in a day and the swelling is going down, what ever it is that he uses works the shots are painful as I'm not good with needles but they work and he is very caring.

Hi, I was fortunate to be able to book an appointment two weeks after I tried to book an appointment at my physical. I was referred over there and there happened to be a cancellation, so I was fortunate to get in to see dermatology in two weeks. I know this is practically a year wait for most people, so that was a very fortunate benefit I got to reap. Otherwise, the situation and the appointment went very well.

Yearly appointments seem to be a thing of the past at Gundersen. Most of the time a return in one year seems to be 13 to 15 months.

Medical experience with medical team was awesome. Having to wait 15 months for next appointment is ridiculous. This is a poor business decision by Emplify administration. Suggest you go back to Gundersen Health System or better yet - Lutheran Hospital and Gundersen Clinic - back in the days when medical administration knew how to run hospital and clinic.

Too many health history questions in MyChart.

There is a language issue with Dr Yao, but he is understandable but sometimes I need to ask him to repeat. He also speaks softly so it could be my hearing.......the aid with him has always helped me understand. I do recommend Dr Yao.

Dermatology is severely UNDERSTAFFED! You need more physicians. Waiting 14 months for a follow up is UNREASONABLE. It's very disappointing. A friend told me to go to Neighborhood Clinic instead.

During a comprehensive skin cancer screening, is it standard practice for dermatologists to examine the entire body? Mine did not, and I'm unsure whether that is typical.

Dr Yao needs to slow down when dealing with elderly people. We felt everything was rushed. His face wasn't deadened when he took the biopsy. Hope someone calls about the results of the biopsy.

I trust Dr. Yao implicitly. I'm so grateful for the fact that he is my dermatologist and has been with me these last years since my melanoma and I just look forward to him being my doctor in the future. Thank you.

My only issue was English is not Dr. Yao's first language. There were times it was difficult to understand him even though I've seen him at least 3 times.

I hope that the Dermatology department can add another provider, since it is difficult to schedule an appointment in a timely manner if needed.

The patient has severe toenail fungus. We have tried to find someone to cut them, and to date have been unsuccessful. A referral would be helpful.

it was hard to get another appointment and i still dont have one

Upon leaving my dermatologist told me to come back in a year. I was told I could not make an appointment as there was nothing available a year out and the system didn't allow them to make an appointment farther out than that. Very disappointed.

Appreciate the attention to being seen at the appt time. I had 3 appts that day and all 3 appts I was called back early.

My chart was not letting me do the check in for this appointment but it allowed for next days appt.

Website is probematic when using a cell phone because you have go in and out to get the access code.

My appt was timely. Areas of concern were addressed and taken care of swiftly.

Dr. Yao is a caring, compassionate and highly competent physician! I am grateful that I was able to see him for a full body skin check after my recent diagnosis and stressful treatment of SCC. Healthcare is a fast paced field but Dr. Yao has found a way to stay on schedule, complete charting that is unique and accurate to each patient and not just a generic smart phrase, and most importantly- he leaves the patient feeling cared for and 100% confident in the care he provided.

Everything went very smoothly and everyone was pleasant.

Dr. Yao was the BEST!!! He listened to what I had to say and answer my and my brothers questions. The PA with him was also polite and very helpful. IT WAS PERFECT!!

Having to schedule an appointment over 1 year out is totally unacceptable. Other providers are advertising same day appointments. Why can't Gundersen do the same. Hire more providers if necessary.

Dr. Yao got me in an unscheduled appointment. I was seeing for a full body scan in October, but I had a blemish on my body that I wasn't sure about and he got me in early and checked it out and really reassured me it was very good.

Except for the delay in getting a procedure appointment, all good.

Not all medical offices receive the information I fill out before my visits on MyChart. I use LaFarge, Viroqua, Onalaska and LaX. If I take time to pre-fill questions so I don't have to answer them at the medical centers, then MyChart should work for all of them, not just some. It would also be nice to be able to schedule a dermatology appt. that is a half year out. You do not have enough people on your medical team for dermatology or endodontics. My doctor is great but my new appt. is over a year away- the schedule is already filled up.
